When I saw the title today I thought the story was about Hardesty and Hunterton.

Fox News:

Dem Vegas politician Robert Telles’ own testimony undermined his defense in journalist’s murder case: juror

https://www.foxnews.com/us/dem-vegas-politician-robert-telles-own-testimony-undermined-his-defense-journalists-murder-case-juror

Nearly ever Fox News headline on Telles has lead out with what’s really important about the story: “Dem”

It can be easy to forget who to demonize for political beliefs if you don’t repeat them every chance you get. Let’s not forget the rulebook, mein freund.

interesting rule change in Arizona. But the source is a bit biased. Author was a former attorney who got disciplined for ethical violations related to political activity with former County Attorney. https://law.justia.com/cases/arizona/supreme-court/2013/sb-12-0039.html

Question 4
Involuntary servitude.
Recidivism would decline if we prisoners were breaking large rocks into little rocks and little rocks into sand, instead of sitting around their pod all day, talking trash, watching TV, getting bored and joining prison gangs.

In that culture, being in prison gives street creed. I always thought if we dressed them in ballet clothes taught them to knit etc or take away the street cred they wouldn’t want to go there. Met a woman one time two sons I was helping one and she actually said boy 2 hadn’t been to prison yet I’m worried for the first time he goes. Like it was accepted in her culture like it was a given.

There are some groups where crime is accepted. Usually very poor and ignorant. It cuts across race and such. In my limited experience it usually has generations of people in and out of prison. I just watched a Jennifer Lawrence movie winters bone – those folks would be a good example.

This whole thread is a racist dog whistle. Where is the thwacking now? This is disgusting commentary and bereft of any critical thought which is pathetic given this is a law blog allegedly frequented and commented on by educated people.

What in the fuck are you talking about. It’s you that have a racist mind I explicitly said it crosses racial lines. Words have meaning. Like if I call u a dumbfuck it means you’re a dumbfuck. Even my example of winters none was about white people you race baiting ignorant troll.

When you say “some groups” and then throw out a movie title, it does not change the racist dog whistle. Nor does your tantrum. Words do have meaning. Like the word “connotation.” You should go look it up. And then after you look it up, you should fuck all the way off. When you get to the end of fuck off way, keeping fucking off until you get to fuck off mountain. Climb that mountain. At the top you’ll see fuck off tree. Keep fucking off. Then just past the tree you’ll see fuck off cliff. Jump.

Its a dog whistle to your hyper-sensitive ears.

Anyone have a recommendation for someone in town that has experience forming Delaware Statutory Trusts for the purpose of 1031 exchanges? I have questions and a referral for them.

Some poor soul is going to be recommended in this thread only to be trashed by others. This is not the place to ask for referrals.

I disagree. I have sought referrals on this site several times without anyone being trashed. Just last week there were numerous posts about the best criminal attorneys. I don’t recall any negative posts.

I admire your hubris. But this page appears in SEO searches when your name is discussed, where clients can come and see you getting trashed (anonymously) by fellow attorneys. It is a downside of the internet.

It’s not hubris, but thank you for calling me out. I genuinely appreciate the honesty. It’s okay though. If a potential client doesn’t have the brain power to recognize what a cesspool the internet is, they probably don’t have the earning capacity to pay my invoices. Win-win for me. Mostly I just get a kick out of knowing I’m living rent free in some peoples’ heads and those are mostly people I beat in court.

I was not calling you out. I was complimenting your willingness to be present in the public sphere. We agree that the internet is a cesspool, and yet here we are actively discussing these matters civilly on the internet.

Whatever thin veneer (and it was thin at best) of legitimacy of the “Best of Las Vegas” awards has been destroyed by the Review-Journal allowing people to advertise and effectively bribe people to vote. Review Journal: “Vote for Dimopoulos Law for Best of Las Vegas and vote for your favorite charity to win $100,000”

These types of things were more influential, useful, credible and powerful before online reviews. They are like the yellow pages of reputation now.
