Just curious. How does Fleiss currently support herself since she is no longer in the madam business?

She has/had a laundromat in Pahrump – Dirty Laundry. But that was a while ago and not sure if it is still there.

Fleiss came from an affluent (well affluent compared to the national average) Beverly Hills family. Her father was a physician.

More facts? Why would coverage be denied? An attorney can do their own coverage letter. Dear Carrier – here are the policy terms, you’re breaching them and Nevada Civil law, you’re committing bad faith, cover me.

Can you share which carrier? Not the details, but if a carrier denies coverage I will think twice about who will get my renewal.

She’s so great, though, I’m sure she’ll do a bang-up job on all 650 of those civil cases.

If anyone has a recommendation for a reasonable bankruptcy lawyer for a small business that needs counsel to address concerns about a personal guarantee in their 10 year (!!) lease, I would be grateful for the referral.

In no particular order; Matt Zirzow and Zach Larson- works on Chapter 7 and 11 cases (same firm); Brian Shapiro he handles debtor Chapter 7, is a bankruptcy trustee and does state court receivership work; Marjorie Guymon files Chapter 7, 11 and 13; Candace Carlyon – does Chapter 7 and Chapter 11. Good luck.

It depends on the issue….

Matt Zirzow – Chapter 11 Debtor;

Brian Shapiro – Anything in Chapter 7; only Creditor in Chapter 11/13;

Marjorie Guymon – Debtor work but have not seen her too much lately;

Candace Carlyon – High end cases only for debtor and creditor.

I think private equity owns everything. All-American might be the exception. The days of the small local firms are sadly gone. Oasis was about the last.
