Just curious. How does Fleiss currently support herself since she is no longer in the madam business?
She has/had a laundromat in Pahrump – Dirty Laundry. But that was a while ago and not sure if it is still there.
Really? THAT’S what you are curious about?
Fleiss came from an affluent (well affluent compared to the national average) Beverly Hills family. Her father was a physician.
looking for a recommendation for counsel in the LV area to contest denial of coverage on an attorney malpractice claim. Thanks
More facts? Why would coverage be denied? An attorney can do their own coverage letter. Dear Carrier – here are the policy terms, you’re breaching them and Nevada Civil law, you’re committing bad faith, cover me.
Steve Parsons has always been good on that type of thing.
Steve’s great!
Can you share which carrier? Not the details, but if a carrier denies coverage I will think twice about who will get my renewal.
DC 12 went from no civil cases to 650!
She’s so great, though, I’m sure she’ll do a bang-up job on all 650 of those civil cases.
If anyone has a recommendation for a reasonable bankruptcy lawyer for a small business that needs counsel to address concerns about a personal guarantee in their 10 year (!!) lease, I would be grateful for the referral.
In no particular order; Matt Zirzow and Zach Larson- works on Chapter 7 and 11 cases (same firm); Brian Shapiro he handles debtor Chapter 7, is a bankruptcy trustee and does state court receivership work; Marjorie Guymon files Chapter 7, 11 and 13; Candace Carlyon – does Chapter 7 and Chapter 11. Good luck.
Thank you very much.
Actually, in exactly that order would my referrals be. Those exact names and in that order.
It depends on the issue….
Matt Zirzow – Chapter 11 Debtor;
Brian Shapiro – Anything in Chapter 7; only Creditor in Chapter 11/13;
Marjorie Guymon – Debtor work but have not seen her too much lately;
Candace Carlyon – High end cases only for debtor and creditor.
Matt Z is also the local expert on Subchapter V – Ch. 11 cases.
Looking to move on from my current court reporter company. Who is everyone using?
According to this, the options are dwindling: https://www.leg.state.nv.us/Register/2026TempRegister/E001-26A.pdf
I think private equity owns everything. All-American might be the exception. The days of the small local firms are sadly gone. Oasis was about the last.
Rocket Reporters also small local company
