This list of businesses that have employees on Medicaid does not make sense. Many of them are government jobs that offer healthcare. CCSD is on there. State of Nevada is on there. And the article does not really explain that EOs have been signed that makes it more profitable for a family of 4 making under $82,000 to go on Medicaid and SNAP. They allude to it but make it sound like all these people are making under $14 per hour ($28,000 per year)

Credit where it's due: the NVSC website appears to be working. The unpublished orders and forthcoming orders pages are updated. I don't see data missing or out of date anywhere.

I'm surprised there have been no criminal charges regarding the ponzi scheme. Is the SEC waiting to resolve the civil complaint before bringing criminal charges? I'm not very familiar with that area of the law so I'm curious to see how it normally plays out.

Telles trial continued to November. As I recall, criminal practitioners here predicted it would be continued, perhaps multiple times. What are the chances that Telles strikes some kind of deal? With the death penalty off the table, it doesn't seem like there is much wiggle room on either side. But I don't practice criminal, so maybe there's something I'm missing.

The RJ article suggests part of the delay is caused by the dispute over German's devises, which is on appeal to the Supremes. Given that, it would seem almost inevitable the trial would be continued again, right?

Sad story. Nile Leatham, was of course the Leatham in Kolesar & Leatham. He was also a Stake President in the northwest part of the valley for a decade. I understand he has moved out of the valley in retirement.

While I dont believe he was an attorney, obviously the Vannah family has been in the Las Vegas legal community for while. https://www.reviewjournal.com/local/summerlin/a-friend-to-anyone-beloved-tennis-player-dies-after-collapse-on-summerlin-court-2721394/

Re the suing-the-bar conversation over the last couple of days: It may not win, but it might be the start of a movement. The law is important therefore the overseers of that are important. At one point all movements started – sitins, don't beat me because I'm black, stop organized crime in Vegas, above ground nuclear testing. I have no illusions the bar will bend to my will (I'm the OP) the only thing I can guarantee is that I will do MY part and have MY conscience clear. Call me a wanna be martyr if you want. But if I can be 1 of a million to stop the bar from fucking over the poor clients that look to the SOLOs then I am happy. Some will make fun when I take my inevitable financial beating, etc. But I want to put my name out there as one who simply would not lie down and take it. Now I'm getting hyped up haha

And here I am wondering if that $500 million went through an IOLTA trust account, and whether the SEC is going to claw back payment of any interest.

Serious question – Please help. It is common sense that the court is limited to the allegations listed in the complaint and that is usually the structure of the case. But what actual cases or law supports that? I'll tell you why I ask. A circumstance where in civil litigation the P pled A, B and C. But they argue for tort D and the Judge seems to me likely to rule on that favorably. I want to go in and show that the Court is limited to A, B and C. In other words, the Court can't just start sua sponte adding claims – or can they? Please help.

With all the talk about bar discipline, has anyone checked on Brad Bellisario? I know he was disbarred, but there doesn't seem to be any kind of safety follow-up from the state bar after they suspend or disbar someone. He doesn't seem ok. Can a judge legal 2000 him? Is he getting help?

ALEX FALCONI – Please read. If one has a hearing scheduled in front of the Bar and would like you to attend to report, what is the procedure? I thought the one "on trial" had to keep it confidential.
