There is a good chance that at least one of you is reading this on your phone from a bathroom stall. Ah, technology. Isn’t it a wonderful thing? With all the advances in technology, the legal profession has often struggled to stay on the cutting edge side of things (fax machines, anyone?). However, nowadays, most firms either have a standard issue smartphone, tablet, laptop, or stipend to keep you connected to your practice 24/7.
While you’re free to lament this virtual ball and chain, today we want to know what life changing apps are you using. Is there a research program you use on your phone for last minute arguments? Do you have an app that records all of your phone calls and automatically enters your billing? Do you use Citrix to have access to your desktop from anywhere? Or do you just your smart phone to read the news, this blog, and play online poker?
