Tiaffay's wife was gorgeous. There should be a sentencing enhancement for killing such a beautiful woman.

Re the Las Raza case: Why would it be "unusual" to dismiss a case for lack of standing? If they don't have standing, how would amending the pleadings resolve that problem?

If I recall correctly, the Ninth Circuit has rebuked him pretty firmly in at least a couple of other high-profile cases, including same-sex marriage.
