Sad news — just learned of the passing of Matt Dushoff. He was a fun, funny, good-hearted man and an excellent attorney. This is a real loss for our legal community.

That is so sad. He was such a lovely human and brilliant attorney. A real loss indeed.

Did not really know him personally, but we crossed paths on a few cases over the years and he was always a professional, straight-up guy. Condolences to his friends and loved ones.

Michigan courts are pretty uptight, I guess. I wonder what watermarks local attorneys can get away with?

Michigan Federal Courts in particular. In Detroit, they still do not allow cell phones in the building. Marshal actually made my client take off his Apple Watch and walk it back to the hotel.

The most ridiculous part of the complaint isn’t the cartoon dragon, it’s Plaintiff’s counsel using a yahoo.com email address for work.

If I was the Judge, I would let the watermark slide if it was Drogon, Rhaegal, or Viserion.

Law Dawg, I object to your survey.

It has no option for “chronically.”

Dawg’s just conducting the survey to give cover anyway. Dawg already knows what the ISPs are that comments are coming from.

Yepper. I think the survey is some nefarious stuff. Glad I’m not the only one that may be thinking this way.

Nothing nefarious. Just reminiscing about the good old days when we had polls more often and thought we would try one out to see how it worked. I don’t like that you can’t see the results without voting.

She’s always treated me well, but damn, if the NSC tells you to do something as a District Judge, you kinda have to do it.

Reviewing the complaint now, but it it too much to hope for that she is accused of lying to the public vis a vis “great tits”?

Honestly, with that lie, she’s probably guilty of a Melony.

For legal research, I find Chat GPT to be a good starting point but the cites are often wrong and the cases don’t always say what Chapt GPT claims they say!
