I work for a civil defense firm and a plaintiff who took us to trial a few months ago and who received a favorable verdict against us just asked me out.

How big was the verdict? If big, then it ought to be one hell of a dinner.

I once ended up dating a juror after a trial. She was hot and I couldn't keep my eyes off of her during closing argument. She called me a few days after the verdict to talk about the case and ended up asking me if I wanted to have a drink sometime. We dated a for a couple months, and then went our separate ways. Not a match.com moment, but we had fun.

So is there truth to the supposed rule of thumb of an hour per substantive page on motion drafting? Am I remedial if it takes me longer?

It was a multi-million dollar verdict. But he is creepy. Like "human centipede" creepy.

Well that answers my question, which was "Was he hot?" Just think, he was thinking about you during the entire litigation and jerking off to thoughts of you.

And still hit a big verdict with all of that self-pleasuring…. In some ways, it is only fair that he takes you out on your money.
