The Supreme Court of Nevada issued a decision about the best interest of the child standard when choosing where a child goes to school. [RJ]
This article about a documentary on the October 1 shooting includes commentary from Stephen Stubbs stating that the casinos called a special back line to Metro instead of 911 which made a difference in the outcome. [Raw Story]
Trying to finish the year strong, the Supreme Court is issuing decisions in 11 cases today. [nvcourts]
Anyone know whether that Rawstory is really accurate? I looked up LVMPD in state and federal and none of the cases stood out as "seven" or any new agencies as the Plaintiff.

Can we just take a moment to give props to the author of the article about the NVSC's decision in the child school case. I don't know if David Ferrara reads this blog, but I appreciate the fact that he included the names of the judges and the attorneys involved in the case, which is what many people on this blog have been asking for. Thank you, Mr. Ferrara.
The article was written well. I mean that in a sense it gives a laymen's breakdown to the public of what the court decided in factors determining best interest of a child. It was classic law school case brief 101. good job!

Stubbs is the go to guy for the Route 91 shooting. That is funny. If you hire that guy for that case, you are screwed. It is sad when attorneys don't realize they are not qualified to handle a case. Put your ego aside and refer the case out or get co-counsel.
