OMG I just found out Grumpy Cat died in 2019. How in the F did I miss that! I'm so sad.

Also, I must be out of the loop and want to be in on the jokes, what does #free??? mean?

Thanks and I'll try to keep up on the news and jokes.

Wanna delete my comment for being critical of Craig Mueller for hosting a "press conference" for that jerk who accosted Sisolak? Mueller should be ashamed of himself.

Good for ol' Bowtie Stubbs. I know people love to give him shit, but he's doing some good in the world.

Also found his way into the R/J as the "spokesman" for the mother of the 4 year old in the freezer. https://www.reviewjournal.com/crime/courts/man-accused-of-hiding-childs-body-in-freezer-facing-additional-charges-2536798/

I thought Stubbs moved to California. Is he still kicking around town?

I had a new case filing sit in the queue for a solid week. The kicker was that it was an Auto Review.

@4:39p – I did the 3-day notice, waited 7 days, then I filed the app for entry of default and submitted defaults to the court for issuance and entry, they held them for about 8-9 days, all of the defendants filed an Answer and then the clerk rejected the defaults due to an Answer being filed by those multiple defendants. Yay…. I know that a motion to set aside would have been granted but still.

Presently summary evictions are taking around a week from submission for filing in LVJC. Therefore landlords file Complaints without knowing if Tenants have actually filed an Answer. We are aware of at least 3 cases where the LVJC Evictions issued a summary eviction where an Answer was already on file. It is a mess.

They changed the system from David Brown and hearing masters to the actual judges. Nothing better than fixing the system that works with an experiment. Enjoy the ride.

Really? I am still getting hearings with Daniel Westmeyer and Amy Ferreira on everything. I think they are still using hearing masters. But it is a disaster right now.
