I have had bad experiences with Jessica Peterson as an arbitrator in cases where she awarded damages that were neither requested nor proven. I am not confident that she would be a good judge.

Trevor is doing a great job. No reason to make a change.

I have a number of trust litigation cases in front of Judge Atkin. I have been impressed by both the effort he has made to learn this area of law and how quickly he has mastered a lot of difficult issues and procedures. I hope that he is given more of the litigated probate calendar. He is one of our better judges.

So far it is 6 to 0 in favor of Judge Atkin. Anyone want to weigh in for Ms. person and prevent the shut out?

I've had a couple hearings with Judge Atkin. For a 'new judge' I was really pleasantly surprised with his Courtroom demeanor and what appeared to be significant preparation. My cases were just status checks so I can't speak to personally having a complex hearing but I was impressed.

This did not age well. We sure miss Judge Atkin.
