As to the Swinger Magistrate, my opinion turns on whether he posted from the bench and not what he posted or where he posted it. Any judge, attorney or employee who is posting personal things on government or company time is subject to sanction. The evidence did not establish that he posted from the bench. Instead there were time stamps on the photographs that would be during normal judicial hours. However if he posted anything during the day, yes call him out for that and then go get every other judge who posts to Facebook or Instagram during the day.

However if he was engaged in consensual and legal behavior on his own time, then for Christ's sake butt the **** out. The allegations are that he shared naked pictures of himself on a website; I dont know of a single judge who has never been naked.

The argument that being sexually active as a judge should be deemed a violation of judicial canons is Puritanical beyond any belief. The guy was the Kansas Magistrate of the Year and had glowing judicial reviews (he won his 2020 election with 100% of the vote) and now not only has been forced to resign (at a young age) but is being scrutinized nationwide. And I thought Nevada was ridiculous.
