My thoughts and prayers go out to Tina Tintor's family.
Amen
Amen indeed. So young, with her whole life ahead of her. Soul numbing tragedy.
10:21 is class. Bless you!
Is it really a headline that construction is planned on 95/I-15?
Unless there's extra federal funding tied to it, the 515 designation has always seemed pointless. Folks who've lived in Vegas for awhile call it the 95.
Sucks to see Tuch go.
Hopefully the Eichel trade can put us over the hump!
Eichel isn't going to work out. He will not be the same after the surgery and how long has it been since he's even played a game? Knights gave up way too much and they will regret it.
I agree wholeheartedly.
Eichel is going to work out. He will be even better after the surgery despite how long it's been since he even played a game. Buffalo gave up way too much and they will regret it.
FTFY.
+1 2:36
I, for one, hope that 2:36 is correct and that 1:45 is wrong.
I think the consensus in hockey is that we won the trade. We sent tuch, who is out for months or longer, a promising, but unproven prospect that may or may not pan out, and two picks.
We get a super star and a pick back. I think that is a pretty dang good trade. I also think it means we are looking forward to next season. Assuming we keep the misfit line together, that puts stephenson on the third line. That is pretty dang good depth.
Only question left is how we figure out or cap situaiton…
We sent 3 first round picks (injured Tuch, Krebs and a future 1st) for a 1st round pick (injured Eichel). The consensus seems to be that it was about a wash on talent if we get the old Eichel back. On salary and No Move Clauses, this was a crippling trade for VGK.
Listening to ESPN 1000, Battle Born Justin Watkins giving out criminal defense advice. He does not even know who the Ruggs' retained attorney is. There is also a non judge, "judge dan" on there. WAFJ.
It's a segment on an AM radio station. It's for entertainment value. Relax @1:09.
That's noting, you should have seen the Maier Gutierrez crew a few weeks back on channel 3 (back when they actually aired local content). Younger looking one was trying to explain some legal point when he froze like a six-pack left out in the winter! I couldn't find the actual clip but believe me, this is about it:

Okay 3:19 I got it – Its okay to be full of crap and not know what your taking about for entertainment purposes. New footer on all pleadings, etc "For Entertainment Purposes Only"
TMZ video of Tina Tintor is horrific. May God rest over her soul, and the angels who tried to save her. WTH is screaming Ruggs, this a LV Raider during Tintor rescue? What the fuck does that have to do with anything?
Just watched it. The behavior of Ruggs and his woman flipped the switch for me. Put him away and throw away the key. Charge her as an accessory.
Agree with 8:37. Riggs yelling "stop screaming" can only be directed at that poor woman while she perished. My heart goes out to her family and that video, in my opinion, warrants a very long sentence for Ruggs.
While Ruggs's driving and behavior is outrageous, he is yelling at his girlfriend to stop shrieking at him. He is not yelling at the victim.
I wonder if the carrier will tender the policy limits?
I'm sure it will. All $25k worth.
That reminds me of a debate of sorts I had with a PI buddy. He said get the minimum auto policy limits because then they won't sue if you get into a big accident and are at fault. I pushed back and said that I go big on limits precisely because I want to be sure that if I cause harm, the victim can be made whole; and, let's face it, with so many uninsured and underinsured drivers, the UIM may very well come in handy.
Am I right?
And why would a PI attorney advocate for minimum limits??
Sounds like the other 2020 Raiders first round pick has a minimum policy. You can't have a minimum policy with an 8 figure contract. There are PI attorneys that will seek personally against people that shouldn't have minimum policies.
I'm sure Naqvi (who somehow was retained by the decedent's) will tender the limits on the insurance policy… Not sure how TV lawyers get retained for cases like this. My rule of thumb is never refer a case to someone who is on a commercial or a billboard. Assuming this was a minimum policy and required litigation to get personal assets, I'm curious who everyone on here would recommend – Claggett? Nettles Morris? Christiansen?
Richard Harris bro. Also, "tv" is exactly how someone line Naqvi gets this case.
Anybody have an opinion on what Judge will get the criminal trial?
