Goodness I hope Jon Jones gets to fight Ngannou and Gane at heavyweight and he gets completely obliterated.
MGM is about as horrible a strip operator as there can be, but the big dog has lots of juice and will profit handsomely. Now that Blackstone is selling Cosmo (for a fat profit — go Stevie!!), expect a steep increase in prices, paid parking, and scowling employees. Cosmo was cool for a while. Wouldn't put my mother-in-law in there now.
You must LOVE your mother in law
R. Kelly broke AF, guilty AF, and freaky AF.
If R. Kelly did a tenth of what was alleged he should get life – but RICO? really? Why is it that only works for the government? (Full admission, my experience is limited but civil RICO pleadings always seem to get dismissed – maybe it's me haha)
Civil RICO is famous for being virtually impossible to plead, let alone prove, so I wouldn't sweat it.
RICO, well intentioned when created, has been bootstrapped for used beyond its original purpose. The federal government is ALWAYS guilty of overreach.
Are any law firms requiring in person work in the office? Which ones?
Brownstein is requiring in-person.
In a small office which has required in person since the vaccine has been available. Which I think is pretty reasonable.
I am in a very large office and we worked from home from March 2020 until August 2021. Most of the small or solo offices that I know of were closed from April 2020 through June 2020.
I never closed my office. My staff was and is essential.
My firm has stayed open, but allows people to work from home. My only complaint is that they don't tell anyone when people get sick, and so it's impossible to know if you've been exposed. One person in the firm died of Covid. They didn't even tell us that person was sick.

Hey, Bob Eglet is only at 39th place on this list? He's got some catching up to do!
Westlaw is down. Did it take this blog down with it?
Well this is not ideal:

They are above the law.
