Administrative Professionals’ Day

  • Law

Tomorrow, April 24, is Secretaries Administrative Professionals’ day. My secretary insisted that a post be dedicated to this topic before the actual day so that it could serve as a reminder. So, here it is. Do any of you do anything special for your administrative professionals? Do our readers who are administrative professionals have any comments or requests? Where’s the best place to take an administrative professional to lunch?

Not sure where my boss is taking us for lunch today. We are new to the Vegas area, so it will be new. What I really enjoyed in the past is when our bosses gave us additional perks. For instance, leaving early 2 hours or coming in late 2 hours certificate. An additional casual day.

Best place to take your staff to lunch tomorrow? Civil Judges Meeting at the RJC. This way the staff can eat free pizza provided by the County and might leran something at the same time.

Our office has lunch which the office administrator orders. Rarely do any of the attorneys even show up. Yet we're expected to be there for lunch on bosses day. Yes, we get free lunch, but really? Show us a little love. And I don't mean that kind of love.

12:13

You want to hang out with your bosses? I would have thought that my employees would have more fun without me.

Staff were all treated to lunch at Fogo de Chao. We love our attorneys!

Honestly 12:47. All she meant by that was she was desirous of respect. I'm not a secretary but this is a common denominator amongst most of them – they feel they get no respect. So, at least show up & verbalize to them that their work is appreciated.

Hey12:51-why do you assume 12:13 is a female???? Are all administrative professionals female????

@ 3:37 I assume that 12:51 assumed that 12:13 is a female based on the statement "Show us a little love. And I don't mean that kind of love."

Everyone knows that all of us men are pigs, and we would welcome "that kind of love". Thus, 12:13 is clearly a female.

Thanks for sharing. Employee satisfaction and appreciation is an important part of a healthy office and of a productive workforce. Saying thank you with admin professional day gifts goes a long way.
