"Trump's scheme subverted U.S. foreign policy toward Ukraine and undermined our national security in favor of two politically motivated investigations that would help his presidential re-election campaign." Looks like the Dems took that intro to marketing course after all.
"No other President has flouted the Constitution and power of Congress to conduct oversight to this extent. No President has claimed for himself the right to deny the House’s authority to conduct an impeachment proceeding, control the scope of a power exclusively vested in the House, and forbid any and all cooperation from the Executive Branch. Even President Richard Nixon—who obstructed Congress by refusing to turn over key evidence—accepted the authority of Congress to conduct an impeachment inquiry and permitted his aides and advisors to produce documents and testify to Congressional committees." Burn.
Also, the White House is trying to overturn the 2018 election in which the citizenry elected a Democratic majority in the House largely to oversee the President.
Dems are handling this incompetently. It's like watching a shitty poker player get dealt quads and still finding a way to somehow lose. If Trump believed in God and prayed, I am sure he would thank the Almighty every day for Congressional Democrats. Trump survives all this, comes out stronger and cruises past Elizabeth Warren to victory in November.
4:41, your poker analogy is pretty bad. If you have quads, the only way to lose is to a straight/royal flush, or high set of quads. The statistics of that happening are incredibly rare, and even if it did happen it would be so obvious what the remaining hands are, and any half wit player would still choose to go all in on quads knowing that its worth the risk against the 2% probability that the other player actually has a straight/royal flush or higher quads.
I'm guessing 4:41 was trying to say "watching a shitty poker player get dealt quads and find a way to win $0 in the hand." And if the Dems screw up Trump dealing them quads, that might be a more appropriate analogy. But with the GOP stonewall, it might not be for the House Dems to screw up.
