I had no idea Charlie Kirk was so popular with high schoolers. Admittedly it’s anecdotal but yesterday I was in SLC visiting family and a high schooler relative came home and said all her friends were posting about it, a HS club had discussed it, and a few students even cried. She was very upset. Also, there are the fears about attending college and safety.
He is responsible for the conversion of a huge number of Zoomers and is one of the primary reasons for the documented upsurge in conservatism in Gen Z over Millennials.
As a parent of children in both groups, its a real thing.

What I remember of 9/11 living in Vegas was being scared as some said we might be next. I remember several of my clients had closed their offices. I drove across town to get the kids out of school.
wow. I hadn’t thought of that for a long time but now that you mention it I remember that was a really big concern for a bit of time in the immediate and after.
I remember the incredible patriotism and sense of community in Las Vegas and the nation as a whole. It saddens me to see where we are as a nation just two decades later….
