A Vegas cop used excessive force and then lied about it? Can't be true.

I just want to take this opportunity to bid you all farewell. After I win the jackpot tonight, I'll try and continue to work for a few days/weeks to not give away the fact that I won, but it will be hard–especially since I'll be making arrangements to deal with the side effects of winning a billion dollars. Other attorneys at my firm will pick up my files when I leave. My absence will be explained away with something clever like family medical leave or something. No one will be the wiser. I probably won't practice law ever again, but it's been fun. I'm thinking I'll probably remain in Nevada as my primary domicile for tax purposes, but will be doing a lot of "vacationing" elsewhere. Anyone have any recommendation for good firms to advise me on my newly acquired wealth?
Nice to see the Republican and insurance defense law firms to support Eric Johnson. I am convinced to support Johnson, because of Hemo and Jeff Silver.
Eric Jonhnson and Susan Johnsons are raging Republicans. Give it a few years, and you will have their daughter on the bench, too. The RJC will become the Johnson "Barbie" house.
UNLV should have named Lionel the bk chair. Cannot pay his bills like Jeff Silver. Please name him super lawyer.

There is more to the story about Chief Conger. I'm told he called the witness in the animal killing case into his office and confronted her regarding her sworn statement in her affidavit and told her that her claim "she came to him a year prior regarding the unlawful killing of animals never happened and neither did this meeting." Witness tampering? Obstructing? Chief Conger (civilian) also allegedly authorized the "OR" of DUI defendant and "family friend" Diana G.
Hey 1:45 PM, it's weird for you to make a post in response to your comment at 1:13 PM. "Very interesting, indeed!"

I see Phung Jefferson is running against Conrad Hafen and Amy "Joanne" Chelini. Piece of advice Phung, you will probably never win until you change your name or come up with a more common name to put in parentheses. Just sayin.
I have come up against Miss Jefferson in court. I have found her to be fair, honest and pro Fessional. What more could we ask for in a judge? She has my vote
JoAnne is tribute to her mom, who she lost to cancer. She has my vote.

Concerning that situation with the sale of the RJ and the three judges who reporters were reportedly instructed to monitor: The possible motivations for monitoring Judge Gonzalez have been reported in news articles, and discussed by columnists, and it is suggested that such motivations at least in part stem from a particular piece of contentious litigation. However, I have never heard anything reported as to the possible or probable motivations for also monitoring J.P. Joe Sciscento
and Family Court Judge Mat Harter. Has anything been reported as to the possible motives or reasons to have these two judges monitored?
Laxalt is endorsing Ted Cruz. Ha. http://m.apnews.com/ap/db_268748/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=GGhxCjGD&utm_source=android_app&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=share
Tells me almost everything I need to know about Cruz.
Laxalt is the great, modern day legal mind that hails from Lewis and Roca.
That's "Mr. Justice Laxalt" to you, buddy!
Ah, "Mr. Justice Laxalt," he is the best of Nevada.
Has a memo leaked from Cruz's law firm calling him a dumb shit who should be kept around only for juice purposes?
I believe we must call him General Laxalt

Anthony DeLuca.. He pulls your credit report and does all the paperwork for you…
If I win, I'll host an open tab happy hour for readers of this blog.
Randolph Goldberg has probably learned a few things in the last couple of years! Some may even be about taxes!
I will give it all to the Home for Unwed Cats…
If I win, I will use my money to support candidates who run against husband and wife duo, Susan and Eric Johnson.

Don't you mean the RJC will become the Johnsons' Magic Kingdom?
Was Eric Johnson the DOJ involved in the HOA scandal?
We have a warm body, here, folks!
I guess ol' Sam didn't make the cut for a bankruptcy chair????

Very interesting. I wonder if that will come to anything.

Is Chelini affiliated with Dave Thomas? I like her, but if she affiliated with him, you lose my vote and my recommendation to other voters.
WTF is Joanne? Chelini is awesome and if Dave Thomas sways your vote you are clearly a mouth breather.
WTH is the mouth breather?
4:28, you are the mouth breather. Dave Thomas is worse than a crook, and your answer just confirmed Chelini's relations with Thomas. Thank you!

Cynically I would say it is to throw off the scent of those that may think it was just to monitor Judge Gonzalez. i.e. a distraction.
what he said
Anyone affiliated with Dave Thomas is getting voted the hell out. You hired him.
