Hutchinson couldn't get the endorsement of his own party, so he goes to an out of state politician who lost Nevada in the last election for an endorsement? Loser. No wonder the Nevada GOP endorsed Lowden.

I love Hutchinson and I'm not a Republican (or Dem – whatever). I'd prefer an ambitious/ accomplished attorney over a news anchor any day.

I like Hutchinson but who cares if an old Mormon dude endorses a younger Mormon dude. I value Mark's opinion 100 times over Romney's.

So as soon as I post this, i see Libo in elevator the next day. Much quieter then he used to be. maybe he got a reality check with criminal issue and multiple bar complaints? Maybe.

Libo is still in town and still driving that Bentley. He's been in bankruptcy since the end of last year (13-17576), had his office on Sahara foreclosed on last week, still has four rental properties that he collects rent on and has never paid taxes on any of them – purchased between 2008 and 2011).

Minor correction – his office was foreclosed on in February and he was evicted from it last week.

Did anyone else read Alan Lefebvre's "Message from the President" in the latest Nevada Lawyer? What the hell was that? He sounds like a rambling self-righteous lunatic. Am I missing something here?

I'm not an advocate or opponent of legalizing marijuana and my practice currently has nothing to do with licensing or any other weed related issues, but this article alone makes me want to recall Lefebvre. I really have no idea what the bar president does, but this guy can't be our representative. I mean, he could have written a thoughtful article focusing on the conflicts of law, Supremecy clause, or issues faced in other states; but he just let his strong biases bleed through like a grumpy old man. GET OFF MY GRASS!

I seriously think he was drunk when he wrote that. It is the only explanation. He would have been much better off smoking a joint and then writing the article. Incredible.

Any chance that it was an April Fool's joke gone awry?

Just read it. I think he was trying to be funny, but not in an April Fool's joke way. He really does come off sounding pompous and self-righteous. 90% of the article was devoted to trashing marijuana and the law permitting the dispensary. The other 10% is a warning to attorneys who may decide to counsel clients on setting up a dispensary.

Wow. I just got home and finally read the infamous article after reading these comments. Everyone here needs to lighten up. Pompous and self-righteous? More like Lefebvre was hilarious and told it like it is . . . sometimes the truth hurts (or angers self-important hypocrites). Wake up.

Hilarious? Maybe it was a failed attempt at humor, but it is certainly not hilarious. I don't see pompous or self-righteous either. I like Leferbvre, but this article was tough to read (perhaps that's because I like Leferbvre and it was tough to witness this train wreck).

That would be A699209. The case number you posted looked like your garden variety car crash suit with the parties represented by two lawyer I've never heard of.

How exciting. Firefly Is closing to open Tacos and Beer. Opportunity for them to poison more people.

Yes. I'm sure it's the same people that will own/operate both restaurants because that's usually how it works. I actually think it's the location that is causing the problems. They must have salmonella seeping up through the flooring.

Yes, I am sure that is the reason why they poisoned 300 people. The tenant upstairs?

Poisoning 300 people by osmosis!
