Veterans Day 2022

  • Law

First, thank you to all the veterans (and their families) who have served.

Second, it appears we have been under a bit of a spam attack the last few days. We’re doing our best to manage it and, in the meantime, have turned on comment moderation (meaning we have to approve the comments before they will show up). We appreciate all of your insightful comments and invite differing opinions so long as they are work appropriate, non-defamatory, and non-bullying. While public figures have certainly opened themselves to more scrutiny and commentary than some of their fellow citizens, they (and their families) still deserve a modicum of respect. Please be kind.

If you want to see yesterday’s Judicial Selection interviews for the Supreme Court, you can view it on YouTube.

Happy Veteran's Day. May you all have a day of rest, and may Lawdawg get a little bit of respite from Russians who want to advertise shady supplements and crptyoschemes.

Nevada is too slow counting votes. Next time, maybe they can increase computing power by repurposing the Loan Approval Machine?

Slow Count – Agree with 10:04
It was and is all about giving plenty of time for everyone to vote. However, it went way to far. Mail in ballots should have a date certain cut off BEFORE the election date, no exceptions. Mail in ballots should be counted before the election date, but the results not released. Day of voting is all computerized and there is no reason that votes on that day are not tabulated nearly instantly when the polls close.
