Wolfson has a pretty cushy gig, he runs his own kingdom without much second guessing. Why screw that up for anything? He already makes almost as much as the Gov., and the office basically runs itself.

Because he knows that women are attracted to Money and Power. And the Governor's Mansion gives him both. All he needs is a dark helmet and he's set.

Jury selection will not matter in the retrial. Navarro's rulings the other day gut the defense and pretty much make it impossible for the defense to put on a case. The thought that Navarro was going to be a balanced, open-minded judge have gone by the wayside in the defense bar. She is so slanted toward the Government in all of her cases that you would think she just lets Myrhe write her decisions.

I am in front of Cadish a lot. She is the least demeaning judge in District Court outside of Cory. I've seen her give Pro Per Defendants more respect than Susan Johnson gives to anyone. Can someone please run against her for Supremes so we don't lose her in DC 6.

Judge Cadish is by far the best judge in Nevada (Cory is great too). Judge Cadish is fair, smart, thorough, and if you feel as though she is demeaning, maybe it was deserved? I'm not Judge Cadish, I'm not related to her nor to anyone who is on her staff, but I know a good judge when I see one!

Caddish is real fine judge, but the issue, of her leaving to serve on Supreme Court, is academic and moot.

If Silver runs(and we all know what a massive machine she has behind her, and what a political force of nature she is), does anyone really labor under the preposterous delusion that Cadish will beat Silver in a state-wide race merely because Caddish is a better, more intellectual judge?

Cadish is alright. I think there are her equals on the bench and practicing. I called it before, and I am going to predict again, she will not get on the Supreme bench. Appeals, maybe.

Judges Crockett, Hardy and Cadish (in pink?) at table. Judge Allf's former Law Clerk (great guy!), Judge Johnson holding her glasses (in red?) and Judge Escobar's former Law Clerk (great gal!).

Anyone who has dealt with CCSD counsel will probably attest to their unreasonableness and incompetence.

Hiding evidence is not incompetence – It is deceitful and unethical. It is normal tactics insurance defense attorneys use. I guess it is spreading to other attorneys now. Sad.

You mean strike their answer? Yes, but likelihood of success is low on that motion. May get sanctions or jury instructions or presumption, but not likely getting the answer stricken.

LOL 6:23. Because Plaintiffs' attorneys would NEVER do something deceitful or unethical like hide evidence. Gimme a break. And I'm a Plaintiffs' attorney. How many non-glen lerner type PI firms AREN'T paying referral fees to tow truck companies, body shops and chiropractors?

I definitely write motions when I find someone didn't produce responsive evidence. But they always say "oh I didn't know about that" or "oh my super generic boilerplate objection clearly covered that document that we never told you existed and that you never could have known about," and judges usually let them slide with those excuses. I have only received monetary sanctions twice, and both times the judge scoffed at my hourly rate, and basically gave me a few grand for drafting up the motion and reply and showing up to court to argue the issue. So sometimes "doing something about it" falls on deaf ears.
