I think the biggest hurdle to any discovery is trying to get everything formatted to perfection so the DC will sign. The ball busting that goes on with the DC is the single biggest reason why I could never support her as a judge.

Just got word that Morris Law is merging with Snell & Wilmer. Another one bites the dust . . .
I think Steve is looking for a nice soft landing for his people once he retires. I bet he goes to Snell for 6-12 mo, then hangs it up. Enough time to pass his clients on to Snell and get everyone else integrated.
This has been in the works for a LONG time, including Snell scoping out Morris's downtown digs. The problem is that once Steve goes away, what is left to hold that firm together? Hence the merger with Snell makes sense.
After searching for Morris law firm in my browser, I had an ad from them pop up on facebook about Clark County rules on keeping chickens. That raises all sorts of questions…
Wrong Morris. That is Brian Morris. We are talking about Steve Morris's firm.

My experiences with Mag Koppe are not positive. I find her to be mean spirited. She elevates form over substance to a new level. She seems not to appreciate FRCP 1 which says "[The Rules] should be construed, administered, and employed by the court and the parties to secure the just, speedy, and inexpensive determination of every action and proceeding." Am I wrong?

Is Steve going too or is he going to retire?
Unsure, still kind of developing. Probably a good time to ditch, but you know how these lawyers love to cling on.

Koppe is the worst. I truly hate appearing before her.
