Never did I think John McCain would be the savior of Obamacare lol. Shout out to the two GOP ladies who told their party (and Trump) to fuck off, even after being threatened. You ladies are welcome to the Democrat BBQ anytime

My law clerk said there were no curveballs on the essays. That means the exam wasn't too bad or that he failed!

LOL… That is an interesting way to look at it. Was there no curveballs, or more accurately they sailed by the batter unobserved?

Sure like all those references to how "Gonzalez" erred in the Adelson news. I don't think I've ever seen a district court judge's name used that much in this kind of article before (sorry you lost in front of her, Sheldon). I also love how the RJ's Trumpcare article talks about McCain and Cortez-Masto but nothing about Heller's attempt to screw his state over. Pretty transparent. Obey your master!

Geez, we just had a Blog headline calling out the fact that the RJ failed to identify the Judge who made the ruling that was at issue in the article. Now, you are calling out the RJ for naming the Judge that made the ruling at issue in the article.

I think he's (she?) is more concerned with the fact that Adelson is using his power of the press to lay blame at the feet of his enemies.

The same could be said for Jeff Bezos and The Washington Post.

The same could be said about any media owner. Do you really think the Brian Greenspun doesn't do the same with the Las Vegas Sun, Jim Rodgers didn't do it with his TV station, The L.A. Times, New York Times, Chicago Tribune, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, FOX…. They all do it. They always said never to go to war with an opponent that buys ink by the barrel.

That's the reason you always have to use the material G_d gave you between your ears (it wasn't placed there as insulation). Try to get information on the same topic from multiple sources with opposing agendas and you at least have the best chance at finding the kernel of fact that the authors are using as the basis of the story (and then delete the spin aspects).

Interesting story in the LVRJ today about a doctor. Seems like a little unfair given that another doc was just sentenced to life for supposedly similar acts:

"She offered to show him pictures, but Burgos instead lifted up the front of her shirt, lifted up her bra, then touched his mouth to one of her breasts, the report said."

As the other defendants in court said, "This is some bullshit." Seven days incarceration? Really? And only on weekends? Is he a convicted criminal or a 90s cellphone bill?

Never knew that a doctor's mouth was a recognized medical diagnostic tool.

Open and gross lewdness is just a gross misdemeanor if I remember correctly. The other doctor was convicted of sexually assaulting a minor, right?
