Has anyone had a case involving an Uber driver? I'm curious how insurance works for an accident since they seem to be fine operating as an unregulated entity. To me it seems like the perfect situation for Uber to point at the driver and the driver to point at Uber without there being adequate insurance coverage and the individual needing the insurance coverage (bystander/3rd party/what have you) getting screwed (and even more so since they promote themselves as a technology not transportation company).
