How does the Supreme Court determine the jury award was not supported by evidence if the expert testified the amount should be $328 million and the jury awarded $70 million. Is it not the job of the jury to decide what they believe is the right number? If the Supreme Court thinks the number is not supported by evidence, then why not grow some balls and just say damages could not exceed "x" based upon the evidence. The opinion is so vague and provides no guidance. 2 juries have awarded damages. I thought the Constitution allows for a jury trial and the jury decides.

Adelson always gets what he wants. Nobody has more juice than Adelson. This will happen again and again. The jury giveth and the elected judiciary taketh away.

The Nevada judicial system is every bit as fair as any appointed, non/elected judicial system in this great country! Just ask ANY judge! Or ask ANY PI plaintiff attorney!
