The Clark County Commission approved Darin Imlay as the new public defender despite criticism that the process lacked transparency. [TNI]
The Supreme Court just released its 2018 Annual Report. At the conclusion of the fiscal year, the State Court system had spend just over $55.5 million. Of almost 3,000 appellate cases, less than half were assigned to the Court of Appeals and a total of 112 opinions were authored between the two appellate courts last year. Give it a look and let us know if you find any other gems.

Meh, her and her husband were campaigning and openly bragging about her longtime, strong ties to the Reid family. This would not surprise me. Her husband was the biggest bragger out of the two.
Where is the link to any article saying this: "Cadish is going around town telling people she is solely responsible for Rosen, taking credit for Harry's hard work." I searched online and can't find anything. If there is no link, people need to stop making shit up.
Post what? You expect people on this blog, who almost all post anonymously, to give you their personal information so that you or your "firm" can get them to invest in cannabis?
Do you also have access to millions of dollars in Nigerian oil money that you need to store in my bank account for a short while, and I can keep 10%?
4:19 wins today. And you guys, this a serious offer.

Anyone know what the fiscal year runs from? As of today, there are 91 opinions in volume 134 of the Nevada Advance Reports, including an awe-inspiring 9 citeable decisions by the CoA, but they're claiming 122 total authored opinions.
The state's fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30 of the next year. The 2018 fiscal year would be the fiscal year ended on June 30, 2018. Of course, quite helpfully (NOT!) the Nevada Reports volumes run on a calendar year cycle.
we will need the Dr. Beth edibles when Cadish gets on the bench. i do not see her getting along with some of the others. going to be exciting, and she brings tim along as well.
I would suspect Tim will not want to move to Carson so expect him to find another department to inhabit.

Good things to complain about. Elissa thinks she is to control what Hardesty does. Pop the popcorn. Mama is back.

Off topic. I was watching the Knights game last night and saw the ASK commercial wherein he claims to be "a former college hockey player" I call BS. Anyone know where he went to school?

His website said he got his undergrad at the University of Penn. Did not find any record that he played for them.
Congratulations to Mr. Imlay, and best of luck. I don't know him but I know how ugly Franny Forsman is when she does get her way.
This town is worse than Chicago for corruption. Look at Harry Reid.
Cadish is going around town telling people she is solely responsible for Rosen, taking credit for Harry's hard work.
I have known Elissa Cadish for 15 years. I have never heard her say this. Not once. Not ever.
It is print. Go look.
Meh, her and her husband were campaigning and openly bragging about her longtime, strong ties to the Reid family. This would not surprise me. Her husband was the biggest bragger out of the two.
Link?
Why are people so fucking lazy on this blog? I saw a similar article. It was about a month ago. I wish I had voted for Tao instead of her.
It was in the Advocate or Indy. I read it, too.
Link?
I need to shower.
Call Tim in six. He will have the cite. He knows everything.
It was in the Indy, dude. Chill.
I thought it was the Advocate.
My bad, the Current.
Cadish worked her butt off campaigning for SCON seat. She deserves respect. She earned it. And she will be a credit to the Court.

She did, but she should not be discrediting her mentor while he is on his death bed.
Only link I found is this: https://thenevadaindependent.com/article/jacky-rosen-from-politically-invisible-to-the-center-of-a-critical-senate-race
That's hardly saying anything about Cadish going around town telling people that she was responsible for Rosen.
Checked the Current. Checked the Indy. Checked the RJ. Checked the Sun. Checked the Tribune. Nothing.
Thank you for the cite.
Article confirms my earlier post. Private conservation cannot be cited. I am not making shit up
1:07 — Grammar police: "bigger" bragger out of the two.
4:51 — Vocabulary police: "conversation", not "conservation". Darn Spell Check. . .
804, get a life.
Speaking of cannabis, our law firm is seeking people who are interested in investing. Please post on here if interested.
Tick?
No, Dr. Beth.

What is wrong with a little pow wow? This a serious offer. My name is Dr. Beth. We have our partner law firm offering investment opportunity.
Can a law firm offer investment opportunities?
As a rule I assume anyone who goes by "Dr. [first name]" is (1) a pediatrician or (2) a quack.
Dr. Ivan. Dr. Beth, who cares. We are talking the wave of the future. We are talking cannabis.
have a gummi and send her money, man

Home, home of the one dollar worth of opinions by the COA.
There batch of opinions in October and November was a batch of stinking tuna.
Bunch and their, since we have grammo the whammo police on here.
This is the post of the week, gtammo whammy. I am using this.

Party on Garth.
Over/under on the ratio of Cadish/Hardesty complainers on here over the next 4 years? I put it at 2.5/1 to start.
If Cadish and Pickering can tag team to keep Reno Jim in check, I am all for that combination.
we will need the Dr. Beth edibles when Cadish gets on the bench. i do not see her getting along with some of the others. going to be exciting, and she brings tim along as well.
Who would Cadish not get along with?
I would suspect Tim will not want to move to Carson so expect him to find another department to inhabit.

Penn does not have an NCAA men's hockey team. It's club only.
Also, I don't want to get the blog runners sued again, so I'm not going to say anything else.
Penn used to have a hockey team. Disbanded in 1978.
