Unrelated to today's news, but enquiring minds want to know….

What is the current, correct link to the District Court website?

More and more of my links to the probate section, regular court website, and related web sites seem to be broken or go nowhere.

I always thought it funny that we sent people to jail over small things like marijuana possession. Cost of jail outweighs the cost of marijuana! Even repubs can agree with me on this one! lol

If you talk to your DA or cop friends, they'll tell you they rarely, if ever prosecute if the only crime is possession of a personal use quantity of pot.

That may be correct but the jail is full of poor people who can't pay misdemeanor fines.

We're at two years now without Colorado having deteriorated into Detroit…I was really hoping for a much larger groundswell of decriminalization by now. Are we seriously going to have to do a referendum on this stupid issue again?

I normally skip over the name of the lower court judge. Reading the facts in the opinion, I told myself, "This smells like Walsh." Lo and behold, it was indeed Walsh.

I consider myself Plaintiff friendly, and even with that said I still think Walsh's actions were extreme. Pretty sure once the NV Supreme Ct saw a $4.5M default judgment arising out of a sanction they were going to reverse it no matter what

Even though I am a PI attorney, I found the court's handling of this case to be so extreme as to be offensive. The "violations" of the MIL order did not actually violate the order. And then to make it a default in the middle of trial…? Wow!

I was in the Court when the MILs were being argued (I think by Wall) and poor Steve Rogers just stood there powerless as they walked right over him in front of Walsh. There was nothing he could do.
