Does it bother anyone that some news report that the Orlando shooting was at a nightclub but some media make it clear that it was a gay nightclub? Does it really matter? A horrible tragedy is just that and it does not matter what kind of club it is or that human life should be valued more or less based on the sexual orientation of a person. Can I get an amen from anyone that agrees?

That it was a gay nightclub was at the heart of the shooter's motivation so I think it's relevant. I had the same thought though.

Guy hated gays and attacked a gay nightclub. I prefer to hear the whole story and thus those facts.

Sharia law says being gay is a crime with the death penalty. It could not be more relevant.

It is extremely relevant. This was a gay hate crime.

It is relevant. The faithful adherent of the religion of peace (who was also a registered Democrat) was exercising compassion. In his honor, Obama is blaming Republicans and Guns.

It causes Republicans cognitive dissonance to hate the terrorist for killing gays. And, relating to the LGBT community, “Sharia Law” is too close to the good old days before Lawrence v. Texas.

Hafen's refusal to accept campaign contributions from attorneys raises his credibility in my book.

Absolutely. He is a fair and impartial arbiter. The handcuff thing was seized upon by his political opponents to destroy his candidacy. Heck the guy argued successfully before the U.S. Supreme Court. Doubt any other Justice Court candidates can claim that accomplishment.

There are four separate incidents before the Discipline Commission all involving contempt citations in violation of the statute.

Hafen's refusal to accept campaign contributions is like my refusal to have intimate relations with Emilia Clarke.

To be fair this isn't new, he did not accept contributions from lawyers when he first ran.

Conrad has never accepted attorney contributions. I think if he had we would have been spared his presence on the bench. There's no way he would have gotten any so he did the smart thing and ran on his name alone.

11:11am – Not many of the JC candidates have argued successfully before the Clark County District Court. Hafen is a qualified jurist. Most of our local judges, at all levels, are political hacks, lightweights, or both.

Another jerk attorney. Man, attorneys in this town have low IQs.
