The first of the defendants to be sentenced in the HOA scandal (who is the only who pleaded guilty without a deal from the government) will be sentenced on Friday. Prosecutors are asking for a 15-month prison term. [RJ]

Anyone see the annual SuperLawyers? Is it just me or did they fail to achieve even decent advertising purchases than Nevada Business' Legal Elite edition?

Off topic, but can we please get Pollock off the bench? He is the worst! Every time he opens his mouth he makes it abundantly clear he has not even looked at the filings, much less actually read them. So lazy!
