If you have any colleagues who are BYU grads, be gentle and kind with them today. They were re-traumatized for the ninth straight time last night by my Utah Utes.

11:17 – are you talking about The Utah State University Utes? I understand they're pretty persnickety if you leave off the capital "The".

@1:55 Yea someone claiming to a Michigan fan hash tagged "Roll Tide". This is clearly someone who is not a legitmate fan of either Michigan or Alabama (the real "Roll Tide") since he or she does not know the difference.

@1:33 Are you referring to the Michigan Wolverines or the Michigan State Spartans? (I'm a graduate of BOTH schools and, when I lived in Michigan, I would cheer both when they played each other in the "Big House," much to the consternation of those seated around me in the audience.)

Fellow Utes,
Take the high road of magnanimity. Break the cycle of arrogance and schadenfreude.
LaVell Edwards retired 20 years ago. That trauma is over. Move on.

Is there any doubt in your minds why Eglet supported his former partner, Aaron Ford, for Attorney General, after Laxalt refused to give Eglet the opioid cases? Oh yes, and you will recall Ford was instrumental in removing the cap on the fees allowed outside counsel contracted to handle lawsuits on behalf of the State of Nevada. Are such actions smart, unethical, or just plain Vegas as usual?

Drug companies are considering bankruptcy should be the headline. They will all file chapter 11, except Johnson and Johnson.

If these plaintiffs are smart, they're bringing False Claims Act Medicare and Medicaid fraud cases to make sure the judgments can't be discharged.

That chicken article is fucking gold, by the way. For those not inclined to click, here are some good quotes:

Barr claims he also suffered rim and tire damage while driving from location to location, and was humiliated when his friends laughed at him.

He said he was so desperate to try the new menu item that he responded to a Craigslist ad posted by someone who claimed to work at Popeyes and could sell him a sandwich for $25.

Barr claims he paid the person but never received his sandwich. The Craigslist ad is no longer online.

“I can’t get happy; I have this sandwich on my mind. I can’t think straight," Barr told the Times Free Press. “It just consumes you.”

Ogata has a problem. Hope helps gets help, and stays the fuck off the roads. A lot of attorneys have substance abuse problems, because they have to deal with other attorneys.

One of the RJ's two main reasons for no longer printing the Las Vegas Sun is intellectually dishonest.

By way of review, back in about 1990, it was no longer financially viable for the Sun to continue to issue it's paper, so a deal was struck that it would be an insert to the RJ(about an 8 page insert).

Now, one of the two main reasons the RJ offers for no longer publishing the SUN, although vague, may have validity. They essentially argue it is no longer cost efficient due to changing technology and how people receive news. Fair enough. It may be barely viable for the RJ to continue to produce the RJ(fewer and fewer people are purchasing hard copies of news papers), so being unable to incur the further burden of carrying the Sun as an insert may have some validly.

But the additional reason offered, that in the opinion of the RJ the Sun has failed to produce a quality news paper is just bull shit. The Sun has always been the liberal counterpoint to the far more conservative editorial policy of the RJ. Plus the Sun has always specialized in more light news, even fluff, than the RJ. This has always been the case and everyone knows it. So, to now attack them as not producing a worthy paper because they are liberal in stance, and tend to be light or fluffy in substance, is a bull shit justification. After all, the SUN is no better or worse, or different, than it has always been.

RJ should just say we are sick of carrying their sorry ass. Also, saying the SUN is free to, and encouraged to, now self-publish so that supporters of the SUN can continue to receive the paper, is also knowing and intentional bull shit.

They know damn well the SUN will now cease to exist in physical, publication format. Simply not nearly enough money to continue to survive if they are no longer an RJ insert.

Sun = Liberal, over the years, that's true. But have you actually read the Sun recently? It's devoid of substantive content. Good only for wrapping fish.
-BTW the RJ's content is also getting thin, printing fewer pages with larger fonts.

Let the Sun continue as an online only paper. The RJ's point – that the Sun is deliberately withholding current content from the printed version so they can feature it online – is 100% accurate.

State commissar Sisolak could force RJ to publish Sun Daily.
Maybe to force casinos buy Sun newspaper also would help Sun workers afford big screen televisions and Iphones also.
Would help workers lead our glorious revolution of new green deal and open borders for all paradise

You're obviously too uneducated to be an attorney. This is a blog for attorneys. Please do your posting on Faux Newz.

No, see, its simple. Gov just tweets that companies currently operating in Nevada are hereby ordered to continue operating in Nevada. Furthermore, he also orders that businesses move to Nevada. Presto Change-o, it's the law!
