PSA: If you look non-native, that gives ICE reasonable suspicion to stop you.

Correction: If you look non-Caucasian, that gives ICE reasonable suspicion to stop you.

Next up: If you look non-male, that gives ICE probable cause to detain and sexually assault you.

I’m glad Madam Maggie took the City to task for essentially embracing the concept of “you can beat the rap, but you can’t beat the ride.”

McMahill showing some stones with: “If the city doesn’t want to prosecute riotous behavior, I won’t subject my officers to rocks, bottles and batteries being thrown at them in city jurisdiction.”

Well, you know, the City Attorney’s office is really busy pleading out traffic and misdemeanor cases.

It’s a tough call as to whether the state should get additional time in this case based on the cyberattack. They’ve had plenty of time and didn’t get it right the first time. That said, it sucks to lose all your files and work product, but I highly suspect there wasn’t nearly as much work done as what they would lead us to believe.

Board of Medical Examiners website still down? Or did they have to start over from scratch with a new address?

Can anyone confirm whether child support payments are affected by the cyberattack on the state of Nevada. This seems like a very very bad thing for kids.

I could be wrong, but I think child support enforcement/collection has been handed off by the state to the counties.
