Why are we working? Because client problems do not stop just because there is a holiday. In some cases they intensify because of the holiday.

Years ago I had a friend who did family law, and he’d close on Dec. 1 for the holidays so he didn’t have to deal with parents fighting over with whom Junior will spend Christmas. Genius.

Really sad. The guy is clearly suffering. The court should beef up security for future hearings in that case.

I was hopefully reading the headline, but then I googled Jay Bloom. Gross. When do we admit we’re going to have to eat the rich?

Well, it’s high time that someone addressed the anti-scam artist bias within our judiciary, and he is just the man to do it.

One quotation from the article mentions a problem with “lawsuit abuse.” So with correcting this perceived flaw in mind, let’s see if Mr. Bloom’s group targets collections lawsuits, which comprise a substantial portion of the Civil docket.

Probably just going to target the judges over seeing lawsuits against him and his friends.

Jay Bloom was a very loud member of the Southern Nevada Disciplinary Panel for years

So, let me get this straight:
The State of Nevada has been permanently enjoined from enforcing NRS 200.510. But Wolfson, the DA of a political subdivision of the State if Nevada, claims that he isn’t bound by that because it isn’t a published case. What the actual fuck?

If only Metro and the DA were as zealous in vindicating the victims of real crimes in this valley, as opposed to the hurt feelings of their comrades and imaginary, unconstitutional crimes.

What a bunch of snowflakes. I hope they get absolutely decimated and humiliated in Court.

Also, the snowflake who was the target of the anonymous letters is about to learn a very tough lesson about the Streisand Effect. What a dumbass.

@9:36 I have to agree. I was recently the victim of a small crime and had the misfortune of trying to file a police report for insurance purposes. Dealing with metro was a circus and I can see how a non-lawyer member of the community would have given up and just suffered with the consequences out of pocket. I try to keep an open mind about the police and I certainly like living in a safe community, but more and more I’m beginning to understand the ACAB crowd. I genuinely wish it was different. I hope the ACLU and Maggie McLetchie beat their asses in court over this stupid law.

How pages into Juryball until you realize SC loves sucking on his own dong? My guess is page 1.

He’s a PI attorney. Do you think that’s a groundbreaking revelation?

To say all PI attys love sucking their own dong (equally) is striking with a broad brush…while i agree there are some PI attys that are flashy or love talking a big game, theres others that are quiet and do the work without needing all the attention. But SC, along with some other select few, have no shame in sucking their own dong loudly and clearly for everyone to see, without shame.
