Drives me crazy when political races sink to issues like "Which candidate would a dead politician endorse?" Who cares? Why not talk about something like, I don't know, their respective positions on important policies? I know, I'm being naive. I'll shut up now.

Heard rumor of mass layoff at LS&C within the last few days. True? Details?

Really? This would be huge news. My office is crazy busy, so I assumed everyone in town was back to pre-recession workloads. Guess I was wrong.

I work at LS&C and regrettably, we laid off five non-attorney/support staff. We didn't want to lose them however, economics also play on law firms.

There you go. Fire them right before a holiday, but make sure you keep the asshole attorneys around.

If Hejmanowski is still running the place, layoffs at the start of a holiday weekend seem about right.

while it gives me no joy, I fear that the issues at LS&C are understated. With the recent and unfortunate passing of key partners, business is down and resumes are flying out the door. At least one attorney left as well. Can anyone confirm that Sam has been sick? That man is a machine and an amazing lawyer

I am currently litigating a case against Sam, and at least as of late May he seemed to be going strong. Haven't seen him in about a month though. I hope to be as healthy and smart as he is when I hit 92, but I hope to be done litigating long before then.

"It does look legit." The website. Unlike the content of the paper that ranks Boyd at 52.

So the boy brought the gun and his father was supervising him? Sounds like neglect to me. I hope if that's the case he's charged with the death.

Neglect? You're a special kind of douchenozzle, aren't you? You're talking about a 12 year old boy, not a toddler.

I bet I know who wrote the word "douchenozzle." Excellent usage of a class of 2005 somewhat original.

It is all Judge Pollock's fault…If it was bad…he made it worse. He could screw up a stip and order. Wait, he has done that. He could screw up every case in family court in Department J…Yeah, he did that too.
