I heard from one attorney that attended the 341 hearing on Alessi & Koenig's bankruptcy. He told me of one shocking admission that was made by David Alessi. Since all of this is hearsay (I wasn't there), I would prefer to have someone who actually was there chime in on what took and place what was said.
Did the 341 conclude or is it such a fraudulent mess that they are going to have to continue the Hearing?

Seriously, isn't the purpose of this blog to publish all the "hearsay" possible? We're not in court right now. Just come out with it and see if anybody else verifies what was said.
So, putting personal political opinions aside, what chance is there Trump could be impeached if the worst allegations about him are true (foreign influence/business interests; failing to divest)
The chances of a Trump impeachment are zero. Liberals and Democrats need to accept this reality. Most Republican elected officials place their primary loyalty to the party above all else. There really isn't a scenario where Republicans would be willing to impeach their own. This is especially true in a political landscape that is post-fact and post-truth. Any evidence of wrongdoing by Trump will be minimized and called into question, no matter how compelling. The midterm elections are unlikely to change this, no matter how badly Trump fucks up for two reasons. First, when Trump fucks up, his supporters will blame the liberal media for telling lies, immigrants, Muslims, and maybe gays a little (for old times sake). Second, the midterm Senate map has Democrats defending substantially more seats than Republicans. And of course the House is gerrymandered for the GOP, which won't be changing anytime soon.
Accept reality liberals. You've got four years of Trump, maybe more.

Both sides are equally guilty of "plac[ing] their primary loyalty to the party above all else." Though the true reality is that their placement of loyalty to the party does in fact take a backseat to one more important concern.. their own power and ability to remain in office. It's extraordinarily rare that an elected official will take actions that are good for the voters and their community (National/State/Local) when it can harm themselves politically. Unfortunately, they are normally rewarded for that political courage by an election defeat during their next campaign.

12 months tops. He is so phony about divesting or letting his children run his businesses which is likely still a conflict. Most of you are too young but my first exposure to him was when he owned the USFL New Jersey Generals. he was so bombastic, arrogant, obnoxious and just a huge bully and he has done nothing to change my opinion in 35 years. Success had already made him believe he was above the rules/laws et. Time will tell.
10:26 is correct. He will not be impeached–even in the unlikely event the Democrats regain control of both houses in next election. Plus, being impeached, and actually being removed from office, are two dramatically different things. Remember the Impeachment of Clinton for lying under oath, etc.? He certainly completed his second term. Andrew Johnson, after the Civil War, was impeached, but not removed from the presidency.
The only one forced from office for wrong doing was Nixon(who resigned rather than face certain impeachment and certain removal). But it was a highly unique, and particularly outrageous situation. Among other matters, he was tied directly to a burglary. I don't think a president will ever be removed for the issues referenced above such as potential conflicts of interest and the like. Everyone recognizes that he will probably still stay involved with the businesses to some extent(admittedly, clearly in contravention of the law and the rules. But his supporters don't care, and the Republican politicians(who control both houses by a large margin) don't care. So, who is it that will make him accountable? Certainly not the Democrats in Congress.
The Russian influence over Trump and the election, it is a powderkeg waiting to explode, there is SO MUCH waiting to be revealed, it why people like Mattis are willing, even during their confirmation hearings, to not only contradict Trump's campaign promises, but to hold the line that generations of true, loyal Americans fought and died for.
Treasonous Trump will be gone soon enough.
I don't really take issue with much of what you say in the first paragraph, but it will not lead to the result indicated in your second paragraph-that Trump will be gone.
That is just wishful thinking. You may want him gone. And perhaps he should be gone. But him deserving to be removed, and actually being removed, are two dramatically different things.
The question from the Alessi Bankruptcy Hearing that needs to be answered is, based upon the representation in many cases that millions in foreclosure proceeds were held in their Trust Account, where is the money (for which A&K stated the balance of the Trust Accounts was "unknown.")
Apparently he admitted to using some of the trust funds to pay his staff.

341 Hearing continued until 2/15/17 because of the huge issues in the documents and Alessi's testimony. Only question may be whether the fraud is big enough to get DoJ interested. Alessi might just consider taking the 5th the next time he is examined.
Yikes. I can't believe that his lawyer let him do anything other than take the 5th.

For all of the righteous GOP supporters who used to claim the high road of morals over the "immoral liberals" what foundation do you have to stand on now supporting a thrice married, admitted adulterer who acknowledged peeping on teenage girls and thinks its OK to grab pussy without permission and doesn't even have a passing familiarity with religion?
While this may be the frat boy version of what a president should be, can anyone here really say that this is who they want running our government?
Do I think Trump will be impeached? No, as long as the campaign checks clear, the ones that vote on it will not touch it and wall street has the keys to the kingdom now, so the checks will keep coming to those who matter.
Do I think the mouth breathing red staters will ever acknowledge what they have done? No.
Are the rest of us screwed? Oh yeah.
Hold on to your 401ks, the money will flow and the market will grow for a little while. When they realize that the piper has to be paid, they will get out and we will all hold the bag and the economy will tank,while our taxes increase. After all, unlike Trump, the US can't declare bankruptcy. Putin will be laughing all the while.

I don't get why people keep assuming that Trump was elected based on any moral basis whatsoever? It's clear that Trump was elected in spite of his morals.
It's clear that those who voted for him just didn't want "more of the same" for another 8 years.
I can tell you that I voted for him because I'm a fiscal conservative and Obamacare is killing me. Sure, it may look like a selfish decision to want to pay less taxes and lower healthcare premiums. But in the end, isn't every personal vote supposed to be based on your own self-interest?
Those who want Obamacare and higher taxes(on those making more than them) are making their own selfish decision so I don't feel bad.

Reading comprehension is a good thing, try it some time. Facts are equally important. Tell me how many times Bill Clinton was married, not three times, well that rules that out. Was he a cad, yeah, he cheated on his wife. Was he running for president. Nope, been there, done that.
Are you religious right fire and brimstone hypocrites claiming that since Bill cheated anything from here on out is OK, yeah, you are. Step down from you pulpit, we have seen you for what you are. As for wall street contributions, tell me again how horrible it was that Hillary gave speeches to Wallstreet. Now they run the cabinet skippy, how's that purity working out for you.
@10:21, do you understand what self-interest means? Of course my insurance costs have something to do with my self-interest. So do my taxes. Basically anything that has to do with my ability to feed my family, send my kids to college, and be able to retire at a reasonable age plays a part of my self-interest. But if you want to pay more taxes and higher premiums for less insurance so other people can get subsidized health insurance and welfare, good on you.
Of course I understand what self-interest means. What I said was simple, and of course, once again, you don't get it.
Let me make it easy: if you lose your coverage by (in my humble opinion) short-sightedly voting for Trump, I sincerely hope that someday you don't have to look back, as so many do, with regret that you chose a few shiny coins over your own health and wellness.
So yeah, I do not mind paying more, because I don't consider the lives and well-being of me and my fellow Americans to be on a scale against what I earn.
@11:52, well thank you for your self-aggrandizement. You said that I define my self-interest by what my insurance costs. I then showed you that yes, my insurance costs are part of what makes up my "self-interest." So I did not miss the point you were poorly making.
And right now the only reason I'm in danger of losing coverage is because of Obamacare making my insurance rates skyrocket. I'm sure glad all those poor people are getting free health insurance because I'm now paying more than double what I paid 3 years ago for much worse insurance.
