Myrhe strikes again! Fails to put an issue in front of the jury and then blames the Defendants for not telling the prosecution that it forgot to put the issue in front of the jury. Last time I checked, Defense does not have a duty to tell the prosecution that its failing to try a claim to the jury. Of course its the Defendants' fault; always is.

That's some of the funniest excuses I've read in a while.

Do these clowns think they are funny?? Who could possibly say – or even think! – like this: “They strategically, knowingly, voluntarily, and intellectually sat on their privilege, did not invoke the privilege, waited … believing they could obtain the return of the specific assets,” federal prosecutors wrote."

I have one of the type of coins they mention. If you tried to steal that, I'd fill you with just about the equivalent monetary value in lead, so I am especially with the doc on this one. Fuch da po po.

Steve Myrhe is probably one of the dirtiest lawyers I have ever encountered in over 20 years of practice. However he is used to getting his way no matter how egregiously he acts. God help us if Trump and Sessions even consider him for the permanent US A post. And I know by criticizing him that I probably am going to have my emails monitored under search warrant.

Integrity and honor are absolute bars to the US Attorney job, so no worries.

He has neither integrity or honor. As a criminal defense attorney, I have pretty good feelings about Wolfson's office. But the AUSAs just play by no rules.

I don't know anything about volunteers giving tickets. Is that legal? How does the system even work?

It has been around forever. I think it started in the senior and related communities. Usually they have a placard that says "Metro Volunteer" and wear bright yellow shirts. It is sort of the equivalent of school crossing guards. Guard forbid you scrape one on those folks jumping out in front you in an intersection. I don't think the Metro volunteers get paid. There are probably statutes or legal authority to delegate such responsibility.
