Even with all the nonsense that goes on in Justice Court, Hafen needs to be done. I've seen the circus that place can become and I understand why Haven would want to try and perhaps try and encourage people to behave; but he's crossed the line too many times. I understand his motive; I disagree with his methods.

Hafen's outrageous and intolerable behavior will be a good test of Las Vegas voters. I see some RJ comments about "putting scum defense attorneys in jail along with their no-good clients." These people, who have no respect for the Constitution (they quit reading half-way through the Second Amendment), will be supporting Conrad.

I don't like to hear a single word in support of the PD in this instance except that she should never have been cuffed. She was doing a very bad job defending her client. She is inexperienced and panicked and let her emotions get away from her.

BUT, Conrad screwed up big time and I'll be writing a large check to whichever of his opponents makes it through the primary. He could have dealt with this in a much better way. A small fine and call to the boss would have accomplished the same thing. He is an asshole and should not be on the bench.

These people will also be voting for Donald Trump, the strongman that's going to right the wrongs of America's uneducated, bigoted whites.

9:20 got it right.
10:40 is a bigoted idiot who thinks hating whites is okay. You are the problem who will make a criminal power-mad murderess like Clinton president.

Hey, genius, 11:40 AM, 10:40 here. I AM WHITE. The problem isn't white people, it's not even uneducated white people. It's that Trump is appealing to the most base instincts of uneducated, bigoted white people. FACT. It's terrifying. My liberty is only as secure as the Muslims and immigrants that Trump is targeting. I can't even fathom their anxiety over this asshole. I'm currently one or two or three degrees removed from Trump's crosshairs, unlike them, but this is just batshit crazy.

I have a bachelors degree, a masters degree, and a JD; own my own small multiple attorney law firm, and I am voting for Trump. I'm not an uneducated bigoted white person. I cannot ever imagine having Hillary Clinton as my president.

We are demographically twins! I am not a Hillary or Donald fan, but would take the latter over the former.

What is wrong with hillary? If you could give an analysis and not just come conclusion that would be great. Also, can you explain why Trump is better because of that analysis? I know I am asking a lot, but I would love to hear your reasoning. Despite your great education, I do not care if grammar is correct.

Go ahead, @ 5:06, throw away your vote! Also, do you know of a simpler way to exchange long protein strings than by holding hands?

Hillary is a crook who has demonstrated a complete disregard for the law in every position of power she ever held. She completely ruined North Africa and Syria while SOS. Europe is literally choking on the shitstorm she created. She is a warmonger chickenhawk of the first order.

On the other hand, Donald is a businessman who likes to make deals. He will bring peace to the middle east.

Easy call for me.

They both seem like crooks to me. Trump U is overt fraud. And despite her efforts to brush the issue aside, Clinton's server issue (and related destruction of emails) was, at best, a major gaffe on her part. Maybe worse. I have always seen both as power hungry maniacs that will do or say anything to get ahead.

With google or Pacer you can read up on the Trump U case. It sound bogus to me. Every school from UNLV to University of Phoenix to Bob's Upstairs School of Law and Chiropractic does the same thing. He was singled out.

11:59 here. I've read plenty on the Trump U case.

The pitch material goes way beyond the normal "all colleges are fraud" narrative. They decided "Trump has a name that people associate with success, let's slap his name on some half ass set of courses, put in minimal effort, and milk anyone we can trick into signing up for all we can."

This comes from someone that is seriously considering voting for Trump.

What about free legal services? Is it fair that some attorneys charge – gasp – 40% of the take to obtain justice for the injured? Bern would put a nice cap on that, perhaps 10% tops, and if the supply of attorneys fell as a result, he could initiate a kind of draft, whereby all attorneys have to serve a few years for free, or get thrown in the pokey. Justice. Berning.

11:45… Let's take your comment and change a few words and who comes to light? "It's that ***** is appealing to the most base instincts of uneducated people." Thank God for term limits.

Anyone receive a suspicious email from the Nevada State Bar "complaints dept"? The attached document cannot be opened and contains some type of virus.

@ 8:08, I did. Checked the bar website and it had a notice regarding a phishing scam from two weeks ago. This appears to be the new version.

@9:59 Wow! Thank you. I will contact the State Bar office informing them of this new version so that they can inform all members and advising them not to open the attachment.
