Fox News just fired Tuck Buckford. Will Hannity or Ingraham be next?

He will go the same route as Bannon and others and will start broadcasting from the Blogosphere. He is not going to be hired by traditional cable networks or publications but he is hireable.

Tucker was fired. Friday's show ended with a promise to be back Monday. Lemon was fired. Both networks used "parted ways" language, but that is just PR fluff. They were both fired.
Why would Fox fire the highest rated entertainer on their network, you ask? Well, the defamation settlement, for one. But more importantly, Tucker Carlson was saying one thing on air and another behind the scenes. The discovery of those texts in the Dominion destroyed his credibility.
I have no idea why CNN fired Lemon. For being a self righteous douche? For talking down to women? Who knows.

Yes i know i can read a different blog. Yes I know it's your right to censor. I get it, all of it. My point is this – this is a liberal leaning blog that censors conservative voices. That's it – that's the point. No additional "right or wrong" element – just the facts. Cancel culture is all around us. I for one think it blows. It chills speech and creates echo chambers. No one grows in an echo chamber. No one learns in an echo chamber. That's why it's called an "echo" chamber.
We've got a separation on the right (Carlson) and we've got a separation on the left (Lemon). Seems fair and balanced to me.
Lemon and Carlson should team up for a nightly debate show a la Hannity and Combs only way more interesting. I'd watch that.

Lemon was fired for being unwatchable and unbearable to work with by his colleagues. It had nothing to do with his politics. Carlson's firing also had nothing to do with his politics. He is an act (who is really good at playing his part but an act nonetheless). Carlson needed a producer or editor who could rein him in just a bit to keep it campy but this side of the line. Politics neither led to his firing nor made him immune from firing.

It *was* Big Pharma and pro-Ukraine establishment folks. It was definitely *not* the fallout of a $787M settlement or Carlson's duplicity to the Fox audience. Makes total sense!

Carlson has been solidly anti-vax for 3 years. Has had many speeches and monologues on it. Never been fired. Never been censured by Fox. Fox has let him air his theories with nary a retort. Yet you hypothesize that this one monologue and all of a sudden Big Pharma is pushing Carlson out. I cannot tell if you think too much or too little of Fox News.

12:25- I don't think Tucker is out due to the power of big Pharma. I think he's out because the network had to settle for hundreds of millions as he repeatedly reported on supposedly conclusive election fraud,that the election was stolen from Trump, and (more to the point) that the voting machines were calibrated to reach false, and corrupt results, etc.
The settlment with the voting machine company was something like a quarter of a billion bucks.
Thtat's the main reason he is out.
And, 11:31, Lemon is not out because he is annoying to colleagues.He is out because it is a liberal network(even Wokish in some respects) and he made on air remarks that seemed to the network, and millions of others, to be degrading to women, and even more degrading to women who have reached middle-age.

I just read through that case. It's wild. Judge denied a petition for judicial review of the City's land use approvals, then four months later after construction starts turns around and grants an ex parte motion to stay construction finding a likelihood of succeeding on the merits at the nevada supreme court. Can't make this stuff up.

Hooge did not come from Douglas County (which is Minden, Gardnerville and Stateline). Hooge came from Lincoln County.
Generally speaking, to be blunt albeit a little unkind, most Clark County attorneys have little or no interest in who populates lower court benches in the rurals or smaller townships.
One notable exception: we would all be curious as to how Michele Fiore is performing as JP. I bet that would provide good material for an afternoon television court program.
Honestly Glasson's JP job would be a pretty great gig that I would apply if I was up there. He was the Tahoe JP.

That said, I do know of at least a few. Some of them actually prefer a more rural environment at this point in their lives, while the others simply have black robe fever to the point that they would be willing to move to a different solar system for a judgeship.
Now that said, moving to a different solar system is one thing, while moving to Douglas County is quite another.
