Speaking of turkeys… As reported by the RJ, Judge Robert Teuton has been assigned to take over Judge Steven Jones juvenile case load. We haven’t see the Administrative Order, but apparently, this temporary reassignment was the result of “unforeseen circumstances” related to management of Judge Jones’ cases. REALLY? Unforeseen?

On an unrelated turkey note, Happy Thanksgiving. Also, for those of you lucky ones who get Friday off as well, Happy Family Day!

How many people out there really have to work Friday? Even when I worked for a private firm before going to law school, the office was closed. Granted, those associates trying to hit their billables went to work, but they never took days off.

Our office is closed Friday, but the custodian has to work–putting up Christmas decorations.

Glad to say that we're cutting out around noon on Wednesday, and closed Thursday/Friday (private ~11 employee firm.)

In a prior life at a big firm, Friday was a work day – sucked big time.

The report also said the temp judge is getting paid $1,000/day. Pretty sweet if you can get it.

I hope Judge Steven Jones gets the maximum sentence.
