So I have been neglecting the blog for the past couple of weeks, and for that I apologize. I’ve been busy with work (weird, right?) and I haven’t been getting much sleep lately. Speaking of lawyers not getting much sleep, it appears that the legal profession is the second-most sleep deprived profession out there according to the national “Health Interview Survey.” On average, lawyers get around seven hours of sleep.
The good news is, we only get one minute less than police officers and two minutes less than doctors. I feel like we can do better than this, you guys! If we just try a bit harder, we can definitely beat “forest and logging workers” who average seven hours and twenty minutes.
Anyway, while I go take a twenty-minute nap, what else is going on out there in the legal world?

Think Jones Vargas lite is pretty official. Not sure where they all ended up but think the bulk (7 or 8) went to Gordon Silver and a couple in Vegas to Holland and Hart (maybe?). Heard Mike Alonso also left and is at Lewis and Roca now with his brother.
JV was an absolute powerhouse back in the day when Nevada had an economy.

Don't you just love it when your depository sells off your multi-kajillion dollar CD case documents to a paper recycler?
