Michele Fiore launched her campaign this morning. She is the victim of the deep state, courageously fighting alongside President Trump.

Go check out her FB.

She is going to win.

“She is the victim of the deep state” Wrong

“Courageously fighting alongside President Trump” She is a JP; she should be doing nothing of the sort

“She is going to win”- No question about it.

I wish everyone who votes for her to have the privilege of her making critical decisions that effect their life.

The fact that she is a convicted felon acting pompous about it pisses me off to no end.

Not even felon, but what the felony was. In any other world that is political strychnine.

too bad we’re living in The Darkest Timeline where a felony conviction has no impact on electability

Interesting article about traffic court. Does anyone know what the de-criminalization of traffic infractions has meant for the old process of writing the citation down to a parking violation and paying the fine? Does that still happen, and can an everyday civil lawyer still do it? If you don’t end up in court, with a DA to negotiate, I am not sure how that would be accomplished. The obvious goal is trying to keep violations off the record for insurance. Appreciate any feedback on the current status. Thanks!

These are for criminal infractions, not civil which is largely all over the Internet. Not only can can an everyday civil lawyer still do it, any layperson can handle it on their own

Are we not discussing the Alexander Dawson case? Defendant represented by Chesnoff, Schonfeld and Randall Jones so firepower.

“We represent the victim in this matter and appreciate the work that has been done by law enforcement, including the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Clark County District Attorney’s office. We are confident that the judicial system will render justice for our client.”

Where in that statement are you picking up they represent the Defendant?

It seems unfortunate that only the kid who videoed this horrendous act is facing criminal charges. My heart aches for the victim.

I wonder if the parents will be sued civilly or just the school.

This type of prison hazing, harassment and battery is more common than you think. I wonder if the perpetrator will serve any time. They should make an example out of him but probably won’t happen.

The fact Dawson elevated this kid to a position of leadership in the school speaks volumes about the moral bankruptcy of the administration there. I’m sure the fact that he was a bully was well known prior to this vile incident. I’ve already heard from multiple Dawson parents who are pulling their kids next year and sending them to Faith, Meadows or Adelson.

And let’s not even get started on what type of father would raise a son who could commit such an evil act. Who is the father of the defendant?

Student Body leaders aren’t elevated by the administration. They’re voted by their peers. Were you home-schooled?

Slow down, 1:40 PM. One of the great mysteries of life is the mismatch that sometimes exist between the morality of parents and children, cutting both ways. We all know examples of bad parents whose child grows to become a disciplined, ethical person and vice versa. Maybe the fathers of these depraved souls were terrible, maybe not. We don’t have enough information.

Can someone please name Vaughan Griffith’s father so we can identify him? He certainly does not deserve to be anonymous. He raised the monster. Name him

You can find out the names of his parents, their occupations and the names of the others involved if you review the GJ Transcript.

I’m as disgusted by this incident as you. But what do you hope to accomplish by identifying the father? If you don’t know him or the child or otherwise have any affiliation with the school, why do you care? If you do have some involvement with the foregoing, the same question, what does naming him on a legal blog, that he’ll likely never see, going to accomplish? Or, are you just trying to “do something”?

He apparently still had the video on his phone when he returned to Nevada. Possession of CP charges.

It is not the assault being prosecuted; it is the possession of the video. This is why there is no discussion of prosecuting the other kids because unless they also have the video they have committed no crime in Nevada.

18 U.S.C. 2423. The U.S. Attorney’s Office could prosecute it if they wanted to.

They could but the Feds do not love going after affluent white rich kids. Much more a state thing.

How do you know they are white? It does not say that. How do you know all 4 are boys. It does not say that either. I wonder why none of them are charged but your explainer does not strike me as credible

Don’t take my word for it as to why only Griffith has been charged to date. Take the word of the authorities and all of the news stories. As far as the identities and ethnicity of the other kids, word has gotten around current and former Dawson parents pretty quickly.
