I try to volunteer at the mock trial tournaments when I can … it is a lot of fun, but it makes me question my own abilities when I see how unbelievable some of these students are.

Then you suck in trial.

You also have to understand that these students only have one case to prepare for. Most of us have dozens of other cases still going on when we have trial. If I could just work full-time on one case, I'd be much more smooth in trial.

Have the genii over at Bar Counsel even looked in Stubbs' direction? The guy certainly appears unstable, and possibly even dangerous, to the lay eye. Isn't Bar Counsel charged with investigating character and fitness?

Summary of Bar Counsel's Report: "Stubbs is in great shape, and quite the character."

Stubbs is dangerous………….dangerous to clients and to others. Assaulting a woman over a small some of money is reprehensible. He is the biggest a-hole I have ever met. By the way Stubbs………that cane is to be used for someone injured and buddy you moved way to quick through that door and down the hall. The cane never touched the ground. HAHAHAHA

I'm not sure if I liked the video better or the post that accompanied it. It is just a matter of time before STUBBS ends up in prison. I wonder if he is trying to make an insurance claim on his last battery charge in Boulder City by taking that cane with him every place he goes? This video should put an end to that.

Stubbs is one of the worst attorneys in Nevada. I see his claim to fame "Civil Rights" lawsuits on behalf of his biker clients coming to an end very soon. If he doesn't get his "ticket" punched in the criminal cases against him the only clients he will have left are the ones that need their tickets fixed. STUBBS DESERVES TO BE DISBARRED……….good riddance.

I never understood the hate for this guy. I was always under the impression he had a good reputation in handling tax matters. Granted he was sued for malpractice, but that does not necessarily mean you are a horrible lawyer as you could have just screwed up on that one case. If he is not a good tax attorney, then who is. The video was horrible. What prompted the reaction. What was the issue that started everything. Stubbs is a little different, but he has always been nice when I have seen him and I applaud him for standing up to the police for their overreaching.

Stubbs has been called a liar by a Federal Judge in Arizona. He grand stands everything he does with the police. It is all for attention in the media. He doesn't have a clue how to practice law and it is beginning to show in the outcome. I don't know many lawyers that are outright accused of "prevarication" by a Federal Judge. In the malpractice case it looks like he royally screwed over his clients. The video is a true portrayal of who Stubbs really is. You are right when you say Stubbs is a "little different." I've never seen a bigger narcissist.

STUBBS HAS BECOME A BAKER……….better choice for you Stubbs.
The guy actually talks about having a "party" in his mouth on his FB. LMAO

Stephen Stubbs added 5 new photos.

Homemade brownies made with high quality bacon grease…OH MY HOLY HECK…I cannot fully comprehend the blissful, jubilant, explosion of yummy goodness flavor that is partying in my mouth. A little less sweet and twice the flavor.
It is the equivalent of culinary shock and awe…I cannot put into words what my taste buds are feeling right now.
On the down side, they are not quite as fluffy (if you care).

You'd only have a real issue with Stubbs if you'd been screwed by him. He has no problem promoting himself even if it means lying and doing so at someone else's expense. He is a piss poor excuse for a lawyer – and I use that term loosely.

how about the supreme court taking up the gay marriages cases. Seems like a no-brainer to me, but I'm sure the media will make it very suspenseful.

FYI- The "Anonymous" that is obsessed with Stubbs is a convicted felon named James Kimsey. Kimsey was convicted for perjury, submitting fraudulent documents to a court, and practicing law without a license. Kimsey was a freelance paralegal that introduced Stubbs to many people in the biker world and helped Stubbs save a 5 year old little girl from an abusive father (because Stubbs doesn't know anything about Family Court). Afterwards, Kimsey and Stubbs used to work together in civil rights cases for the bikers, but had a falling out. Since then, Kimsey has made it his mission libel and slander Stubbs at every opportunity. Kimsey even showed up to Federal Court last week with Former Boulder City Police Chief Thomas Finn (they are now best buds because they both hate Stubbs so much).

I bet we wouldn't see so many comments if it weren't "anonymous". Stubbs is a great guy, but should probably tick it down a few notches. That video seems to show Stubbs try to avoid a collision with the girl (he stops, and moves around her). Plus, the Secretary of State's website shows that Stubbs is the owner of the business (Sin City Citations, LLC). Coburn sued Stubbs and is asking the judge to give him ownership.

I also wonder how many of these comments, if any, have been authored by Steve Sanson. Stubbs' is one of the few people to publicly call out Sanson for his wildly inappropriate behavior, bullying judicial candidates who do not make an act of fealty to Sanson's organization, Veterans in Politics.

I read comments attacking Stubbs with gratuitous, bigoted comments about "magic underwear" and I have a hard time believing that an attorney would write those things, even anonymously.

It would be extremely interesting to know who is writing these comments about Stubbs and what their angle is.

Kimsey's conviction in federal court was reversed outright.

Only 1 of Kimsey's convictions was reversed (not on the merit, on due process grounds). In foot note 1 of that decision, the 9th Circuit discusses his other (not-reversed) convictions for "unauthorized practice of law, forgery, perjury, conspiracy to commit perjury, and offering a false instrument for filing". Kimsey is a bad dude and a leach on the legal community.

The decision is readily available on google. Just Google "James Kimsey fraud".

Kimsey also sent an "anonymous fax" to Judge Vega in the Bandido case, accusing Stubbs of all kinds of crazy stuff and asking him to be excluded from the courtroom. Kimsey sent the fax from the Kinkos close to the courthouse (Kinkos number was stamped on the fax), which willingly gave up the security video to the attorneys on the case. Kimsey is a vindictive lunatic.

I tip my hat to Stubbs. How many lawyers would have the guts to get arrested defending his client's rights.
