I think universal mail in ballots will change judicial campaigns, I'm just not really sure exactly how. I don't have any predictions in the judicial races, but I am very interested to see the results tonight.

"David Lee, the attorney representing the Trump campaign and state Republican Party . . ."

"Your honor, the leaky window frames, insufficient flashing, and defective stucco are causing water intrusions which is negatively affecting the election."

Weep screeds, counsel. Law is all about the weep screeds.

Ya'll are giving me PTSD. I cut my teeth in the 90s under Betsy at Beckley. But, hey, I learned about weep screeds.

Pshh. It's not about the weep screeds or the leaky frames. It's all about the hurricane-levels of water sprayed directly on the exposed wood. Which, in this analogy, is the torrential bullshit being sprayed on the American public by the Tangerine Tornado.

Scotti wins bythismuch…Nadia Krall will BLOW OUT Aurbach. Coffing wins. Villani wins by a small margin. Bluth wins. Bare wins. Bulla wins. Stoeffel and Hughes lose big. Perry And Perez win big. Almase and Davis too close to call.

@12:21 PM. Goes to show you have no idea what's going on. Dave Thomas is not Scotti's campaign manager.

Moreover, 12:21 right here, and I'm not Dave Thomas. I'm for Scotti because I know he does a good job on the bench.

2:16. I can't say that he is one of the best, but he is far from being one of the worst.

The questions surround reported instances of his demeanor, and whether there has been enough media coverage in that regard that has resonated with a large percentage of voters.

Or, it may be resolved a lot more simply. His opponent is a female and she has been spending.

Women who spent (Kierny/Krall) or women who did not spend (Ballou/Lilly-Spells)– it did not matter.

Kephart is going to win. Frankly, it will be a relief to not deal with all the liberal bed wetting over his record.

He hid evidence that would have exonerated a man and instead sent that wrongfully accused man to prison for life. Liberal bed wetting? Go to hell.

I predict that political phone calls and mailings will stop for 4-5 months, and that if trump wins the impeachment allegations start in 3, 2, 1……

We all have judges or attorney/candidates with whom we have crossed swords or gotten in contentious cases and yet we can understand and respect them as a judge. I have never had one who was blatantly dishonest to the Court run for the Bench until this year. I know it is too late, but the bar needs to know that Nadin Cutter is beyond being a difficult attorney to work with. She puts patent misrepresentations in pleadings when she actually remembers to file pleadings. I know Jason Stoffel is an odd duck but for the love of all that is holy please make sure Nadin never is given power over peoples' lives and families.

1:01 and 1:31–you two have hit the nail squarely on the head. You can live with Stoffel winning. There are far worse judges currently serving in that building. It will be okay.

But as you both suggest, the alternative raises some very, very troubling concerns, to put it mildly.

On the Trump appeal to the NV Supreme Court, one of the justices did not recuse, but disclosed "Filed Notice of Voluntary Disclosure. I believe that I can be fair and impartial in this case, but I wish to disclose that Phillip Aurbach, Esq., is a member of my Red Rock fall mixed tennis team."

LOL

Aurbach is ridiculously charming and plays a mean game of tennis, so the Justice was right to disclose he's been exposed to both.

that is a proper disclosure. If a party found out and it was not disclosed, one could legitimately question the judge's partiality

All three branches of Nevada government (legislative, executive, and judicial) are thoroughly Democrat and Female. This good or bad? We'll find out.
