His partner Borgault retired a long time ago. Harding was admitted in '75 maybe. He is only 65 maybe.

He shouldn't retire because of age. He should retire because he's lost his ability to litigate.

It is a P.I.A. to have a case with. He is known by all the judges. He was a great lawyer in his prime. Don't know about now.

Sam is every bit as warm, fuzzy, and likable as Ted Cruz, and is several years past his prime. Stipulated. But he has apparently managed to keep punitives in the case (at least for now), and it looks like Lewis Brisbois has brought in some big-name partner from out of town to try the case. The creepiness of Sam is outweighed by the joy I take when such people come here to show us bumpkins how it's done and then leave with their asses in a sling, so I hope that's what happens. But premises cases are tough.

I've known Harding for 20 years. At no time have I ever considered him a "great" lawyer. He can be very smooth; he demonstrates great confidence, even when he has no idea what he's talking about; but he is always unprepared. Perhaps his "prime" occurred before I knew him.

It's a really stupid thing to imply that because it's a dental school one should expect malpractice.

You are putting in your own implications…all it said "expect the best service" that doesn't mean malpractice would occur every time. But I am not surprised it has…or at least been alleged it has

It goes to my junk folder but I couldn't resist reading Voldemort's letter announcing he is running yet again for a political office. I lost count how many times he has lost but it has got to be over 3. Good luck SS.

Does it really matter where a person went to law school? We all passed the same bar exam. I've even seen great discrepancies in acumen even among attorneys who graduated from top-tier law schools. And despite Boyd getting a bad rap, it produced some very good attorneys. The saturation of the market and semi-annual bar exam is another discussion.
