With ballots set to start arriving in mailboxes next week, it’s time to talk about the contested judicial races featured on that ballot. We welcome your comments on the qualifications of the candidates as well as any information you can offer to help voters make an educated decision. For District Court Judge, Department 18, the candidates are:

- Hunt, John A.
What are your thoughts on the race in this department?
John Hunt needs to get out of the election business. He has never won for many reasons. I've been opposed to him on matters and he's a bit of an arrogant guy. He doesn't listen at all so I can't see how he'll be able to render decisions. Also- the guy is a out and open hard core democrat with lots of ties and conflicts. No way I can vote for him. I also question the judgment of someone who wants to be a judge so bad – stay in private practice dude. Make more money, keep your biases. Judge Holthus will be getting my vote.
