It’s Monday morning, so let’s start the week off talking about tv. While some of you were watching Jordan Spieth dominate at the Masters, others were binge watching Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix. For those of you who don’t know, Daredevil features the story of a visually impaired lawyer by day who is also a masked vigilante by night. Sound like anyone you know? It’s probably more likely that you know someone like Slippin’ Jimmy McGill aka Saul Goodman in Better Call Saul, the prequel to Breaking Bad. Did any of you catch the finale of that last week? What did you think? More importantly, are you glad that Game of Thrones is back or what? What have you been watching? Anything exciting going on out there?
I've been watching my billing. Because, you know, associate.
What is this "billing" you speak of? I guess I wasn't smart enough for that. I was so dumb that I became a PI attorney. Now I have to spend my 5 different weeks of vacation (1 per quarter, plus 2 at Xmas) looking for a place to put all my money. I just wish I would have been smart enough to bill every six minutes of my life. That way, I could have prestige…which is far more valuable than money and free time with my family!
Pardon me for trying to get some experience under my belt instead of trying to learn my craft on the back of those poor saps who were unlucky enough to retain me.
Let me guess. You also "handle" DUIs?
No way. DUIs don't pay shit. Also, if I handled DUIs it would prevent me from suing those bastards when they hit an innocent person.
Better Call Saul is an awesome show. Highly recommend. Doesn't even matter if you didn't follow Breaking Bad since it is a prequel.
Watched Manchester United beat my City team yesterday.
Blog is dead.
After Spieth dominated the Masters, sure enough, the practice range was packed. Possible resurgence in golf?
Soccer and Daredevil? Wow. Try watching Mad Men.
Watched masters, worked and pleasured myself.
^^^^ Please bless you are a hot lady lawyer.
Speaking of Daredevil Behavior, Stephen Stubbs will be appointed as a special consultant to the NV Supreme Court next week.
