That condo story with the sewage is shady. It's conveniently zoned for hotel/tourism, making the land very valuable. I smell a rat.
I would be curious to know how many of these units are owner-occupied (my guess is not very many notwithstanding the guy they interviewed who has been there for 30 years) versus how many are rentals owned by one or a small group of investors through various LLCs. Seems like they may well be missing the real story. Typical local news.

If you're advising your client on how to commit a crime, yeah. If you're advising your client on how to subvert democracy, most definitely.
Dear 1:28, I think I know what you meant but just going by your words, all of the "Progressive" Democrats that are really American Marxists are, by definition, trying to "subvert democracy." What you really mean is that if someone doesn't agree with your political views they should be investigated. If you and I ever went out for a beer, I bet I would disagree with you on many things, but I would not want you investigated because you disagree with me.
"subvert[ing] democracy" is a bit of a red herring, considering that the USA is NOT a democracy, its a constitutional republic.

Democracies and constitutional republics are not mutually exclusive, you cornstarched powdered donuts.
And neither party is anywhere near Marxism, which you might know if you'd ever read Marx instead of just listening to talk radio and assuming soshulism = marxism = bad people = democrats. Right wing crazies annoy the living hell out of me because they are near-universally ignorant of the terms they throw around. This makes decent Republican policies harder to get enacted because y'all taint the opinions of non-crazies. That's a problem because government by consensus is important.
