Best Place To Take Associates/Clerks To Lunch

  • Law

At the suggestion of one of our commenters (who is obviously a partner looking for advice), here is an opportunity for you to discuss the best places to take associates/clerks to lunch. Obviously, answers are going to vary based on location, but don’t let that hold you back (unless your answer is the MAC kitchen–places not accessible to the general public and not subject to health inspector inspections are not eligible).

Also, thanks for reading the blog. According to our calculations, we’ll have our 3,000th comment sometime today. We couldn’t do it without you!

Milos. It's fancy, so they're getting a treat, but the lunch menu is doesn't go past $20, so you're not spending too much. (Unless you have a intern bold enough to order wine.) The only problem is that service can be slow and you have to go down to the strip. So it's more of a special occasion thing, unless you regularly have time for two hour lunches.

I as a partner do not eat at Cili or Triple George; why in the world would I take Associates/Clerks there? On the west side of town (for special occasions like you are getting a raise or we need to take you far enough away from the office that the minions can pack up your office while we are firing you over lunch), Grape Street is a popular choice.

Good call, 9:05 — Lawry's lunch special is awesome. We also have taken our staff out during restaurant week for some great lunches

In the old days it would be Las Vegas Country Club…near the end of the month. Try Lotus of Siam.

Well down here in Laughlin, the Spur of the Silver State, when I take my Clerks and Deputies to lunch, it's usually the buffet at the Aquarius Casino. In Vegas, we go to the Triple G.

Shark Pimp,

Pretty sure that taking your deputies to lunch in Las Vegas oversteps your jurisdiction.

Love,
