Considering the approximately $250 million Oracle was asking for, the $50 million dollar verdict was a gift to the defense

Oh my, another ghost walks over my grave. RIP

Trigger alert, political commentary ahead:

He was not a good man in any sense of the word, but if some illegal immigrant can cross over the Rio Grande and walk into a hospital and get whatever surgery he needs, it screams injustice that a citizen who did at least pay some taxes for a while goes without necessary medical care. His blood is on Obama's hands.

That's seven deaths now. But I can almost guarantee that 100% of those involved in the Hoa scandal will be dead before this time next century.

No disrespect to Levinson, but the HOA scandal is a freak show. I think there is more shit that is going to come out about this as time passes.

No there won't. Its over. Just like "more will come out of the Medical Mafia" and didn't. It is over. Some bad people went down and quite a few good people got destroyed in the process and no one is better for it.

The good people who got destroyed in the HOA scandal were the home owners and the tax payers who had to pay to prosecute this debacle. Getting a pass because you turned state's does not make one a good person.

From my understanding in the tech press, Rimini was found liable for incidental infringement versus intentional infringement, and thus is forced to pay a license fee versus a theft measure of damages.

Which seems like it would be a big deal to Rimini's reputation in the tech world

Let it never be said that Eglet missed a chance to use current events in an effort to force defendants to oppose dumbass motions: https://danagentrylv.files.wordpress.com/2015/10/20151009-p-mtnaffirmblacklivesmatter-doc-final-1.pdf

Despite the title, this motion is right on and should have been filed long before the "current events."

Proposed questionnaire question: “Have you ever been a member of a racially biased group or organization?”

Sounds like Mormons and all other Republicans will be excused.

Better question: Have you ever been a member of a group, club, or religious group that has treated people differently based upon race or ethnicity?

I truly look forward to seeing a document titled "Opposition to Motion to Affirm Black Lives Matter." I'm sure the reply to the same will claim defense counsel all have pointy hoods hanging in their closets.

Does this qualify as playing in the A league?

Can someone explain the humor in connection with the Boyd Class of 2013 being brilliant or having great accomplishments? Is it some kind of inside joke? I am not a Boyd grad so don't get the humor.

Being Boyd 2011-2013 is like being listed on Super Lawyer, with both parties paying about the same amount for the "honor."

You're boring and repetitive. If you're going to keep bashing, say something more specific and substantive about them. Or at least something witty. Repeatedly saying "they're dumb" contributes nothing to the blog.
