If Conrad Claus is an attorney in Nevada, why is he working as a police officer in Louisiana?
If person is a CEO of three companies in Texas, why is he working as the head of a government agency in DC?
Keep crying.
Just wait until you hear about the rest of Washington DC. One person works for an agency, their spouse works for a company who lobbies the same agency. Democracy, wahoo!
Is Anora the first best picture winner to be filmed in Nevada?
As soon as I posted this I remembered Nomadland. Maybe the first filmed in Vegas, though.
Rainman, Godfather I and II
Nice pulls. I don’t think Rain Man was actually filmed in Vegas. Godfather I & II were – which kind of surprises me given that I don’t remember much in them that would’ve required anything on location. Maybe everyone just wanted a free trip.
Godfather II– the wedding at Lake Tahoe and when Fredo allows people to shoot through Michael’s bedroom window where his children “play with their toys” plus a lot more. Oh yeah, the row boat when Fredo is killed after the mother dies.
This is 11:48. IMDb says that the Tahoe scenes were shot on the California side, but there’s other stuff shot in Vegas. IMDb also says that Rain Man was shot at Caesars, so I stand corrected on that.
It was definitely filmed in Las Vegas. In fact, you can actually still rent the “Rain Man Suite” at Caesars Palace.
Anyone in town particularly adept at airbag cases? I have one that I think it pretty good to refer out. Thanks.
