Odds the GOP would cry foul if the House committees were taking depositions in public and argue that democrats are trying to allow witnesses to align their testimony?

It is funny people are mad at Schiff for paraphrasing, but defend a president who lies about everything.

Yes my friendly troll. "Paraphrasing" hahahaha as he read into the record in an official House proceeding. Most people in the US can't name the VP or their home state Senator and you think they know the difference. But I still like you so just remember “You’ve gotta cross over the anger bridge and come back to the friendship shore.” — Cal Naughton Jr.

Warren said “I strongly oppose this proposed ordinance, which caters to the interests of business groups rather than our families and our communities,” she added.

I honestly don't care what this woman has to say about anything, but this line struck me as particularly idiotic. Is she implying that it's bad for businesses not to want people sleeping near their locations? Or that our "families" and "communities" should want the homeless where they live and work?

You should care very much what she has to say. She has a real shot at being President of the United States by winning the democratic nomination and not being Donald Trump.

I think her policies are bonkers, but I will vote for her in a heartbeat over Trump because Trump is an existential threat to our democratic institutions.

This is one of those things where Democrats need to pull their heads out.

Newsflash: a lot of people (I'm willing to bet most), including a lot of liberals, don't like having a bunch of homeless people around, nor do they like illegal immigration, etc.

The Dems seem to just be embracing and defending all defending all these poor souls and blaming everything on an unjust society, rather than coming up with any solutions. If anything, they seem to be going the route of accusing anyone who actually tries to do something as being racist or whatever.

They'd win a lot more elections if they'd become more moderate themselves. And winning a certain nearing election is kind of important…

Agreed. Democrats are trying to out Trump Trump by going further left. Not a good strategy to get those independent and moderate R voters who are fed up with 45. I actually used to like Warren when she first came up running the CFPB, but she's going a little too far for my tastes. Plus, like with many presidential candidates, she won't be able to get any of her plans through Congress. Like 0%. But that's why I'd vote for her over Trump. She has some unsustainable domestic goals that will go nowhere, but at least she won't pull a Helsinki.

Warren stole scholarships knowing she was not Indian. She lies and can't handle confrontations. We just cannot afford that kind of waste. People of her hometown can't stand her either.

"Warren stole scholarships knowing she was not Indian."

You've been paying attention to the news, right? And seen what Trump has been up to?

I'm a former Republican who left the GOP in 2016 because of Trump. I agree with little that Warren has to offer in policy. I also think her whole Native American thing is a clowning embarrassment for her. And yet that is nothing – NOTHING – compared to the damage Trump is doing. Voting for Warren. Early and often. Will give her money. Will encourage others to vote for her.

That shows how smart you are-will vote for Warren, Early and often. Is Early running? Or are you going to fraudulently vote more than once? lol Delusional.

Maybe Warren will welcome them in her home town. I am sure our street people would warmly receive her invitation to contribute to her community.
