A New School Year

Easy way out of the public financing of the stadium issue: Government officials should demand the use of union construction workers and union employees once it is built. Nothing will make Shelly run away faster.

Brian is cool. Smart and reasonable guy. His blog seems to be all business. No BK hottie posts.

You're right. This blog is more like a mullet– a little bit of business from the right angle, but wild party rest of the time.

That said, I think we should all ditch this blog and make Brian's the new go-to place. I've never been too comfortable with anonymous bloggers giving me my news. No offense to present bloggers.

I strongly prefer anonymous bloggers. I am an American who appreciates our revolutionary roots. Can you imagine attaching your name to a reasoned but passionate diatribe against a judge? Or making a "triggering" remark? If it is to be a market place of ideas and news, who cares who posted it? Be free!

Can we just send the "Blog is Dead" guy over there? I'm sure Brian would appreciate that joke.

Mullet joke, love it, bring on the band. Can we have some Brent Bryson mood music to take us out MTV style on this lovely Monday afternoon?

Hey Brian, if you don't like anonymous posts, quit trolling on here anonymously then.

As the poster above notes, anonymity in blogging and commenting is generally an unfortunate necessity given that we have to deal with the subjects on a daily basis and some of them have the ability to ruin our cases if we speak freely about them. You, on the other hand, will either consciously or subconsciously, pander and make sure you don't ruffle feathers.

As long as they are virgins who would have voted trump, she is just doing her part to clean up the gene pool. #darwinism

Right, 3:24PM, we wouldn't want to make America great again. Vote for the old vampire to continue to enrich herself at the cost of our nation, and to kill off her opponents at will, while implementing policies that are 100% tried, true and proven to destroy countries. Venezuela is her ideal. A few get filthy rich. The rest starve.

Darwin yourself!

Great. Here comes the "make America Great again" trolls again. We get it. You want anyone who doesn't look like you, talk like you, think like you or worship the same god as you to leave the country and you think the use of force is justified to accomplish this goal. We get it. You are a terrible person. Move on.

I just realized that a lot of comments about Trump revolve around tribalism. I had thought his strong support came from the working class segments of all tribes who are sick of the elites sucking them dry, and a general weariness of the PC Nazis among all right thinking people. Not sure if this is campaign propaganda, or if people really think Trump is a KKK Trojan Horse.

4:04 PM – you never surprise. If a person shows any support for Trump's policies, they are automatically deemed a racist, homophobe, misogynist, crazy Christian, and all the other "ism." For someone who wants diversity, you certainly don't appear to accept difference in political belief. Oh wait, I forgot, you are morally superior so you must be right.

Don't kid yourself. No one "support[s] Trump's policies" (not even Trump) because no one knows what those policies are. Trump would call for the public execution of anyone with a last name ending with the letter "z" if he thought it would get him elected.

And you make a good point. Just because you support Donald Trump does not mean that you are a "racist, homophobe, misogynist, crazy Christian, [or any] other ism." It just means that you aren't very smart.

Again, no surprise that you resort to name calling: "It just means that you aren't very smart."

The tested and true method for a liberal to win any debate with a conservative: conservative makes a well reasoned argument on why requiring an illegal alien to leave this country even though their child was born here will not result in splitting up a family (because any responsible parent would take their child with them notwithstanding the child's citizenship, not leave their child in the US with no parents or support system); liberal responds with, "well you hate Mexicans, which means that you're racist so you must also hate African Americans. Where's your white robe?"; conservative leaves debate; liberal is the winner because conservative didn't outright deny he/she is racist.

Get to know libertarian candidate Gary Johnson. He can be a viable candidate if voters would learn that there are alternatives to Clinton and Trump.

I'm actually hoping for a Trump win (which I consider unlikely) simply because I am willing to put up with four years of balls-out weirdness for a real-world demonstration of the fact that for 99% of the people on the planet it doesn't fucking matter who becomes President.
